Nothing wrong with his attitude. He's spot on. Hes happy, playing and scoring goals in a side that's using him properly. His value and career may benefit as a result and hes being honest. Good on him.

 

I don't care if they have or don't have 200-250k. Not our problem.

I repeat not many div 2 have scored 21 goals before the start of the year and around 60% of a team goals.

200-250k is nothing if it's going to bring you 750-1m ROI come May. You find the money for that ROI!

If they can't find the money he stays and then they battle it out to sign him at the end of season.

Let's stop being a charity and make statements in the football world.

Fordy, I have no feelings for BCFC good or bad. You however are a prize plum!
Firstly I would love it if we, Swindon Town held on to Doyle but at the same time would lose no sleep if he went back to VP. He has served us well but ultimately isn't our striker.
If he does return I hope he fails to score once for you, because you Fordy are a piece of work. You disregard your own fans opinions, offer so much business advice on how you should conduct affairs at VP as if no on one else has any idea.
You may have your own business but you don't seem to be pulling up trees unless that is you're a dragon on BBC 2! In a nutshell, good luck Bradford but as for you Fordy you are something else!!

It'll be interesting to see if Doyle suffers from a case of the "Jack Paynes" after he remains at Swindon for the rest of the season?

City were royally shafted after pushing the boat out to keep him. Buyer beware !

 

Theres no excuse for us not taking a bullish commercial position here. If Swindon wont pay up, we take him back. It should be that simple.

the most prolific striker in europe - we're short on strikers - and he's our player. and it's not even like Swindon are paying all his wages.

if we're serious about getting promotion, then letting him stay and bang in goals for Swindon is ludicrous. and I don't care how much he's on, we have to take the hit and bring him back here, even if only to take those goals away from them.

Each to their own, but it doesn’t take me any energy too hate Leeds or Twon. A couple of my best mates are Leeds fans, part of the reason I want them too lose is too have banter with them.

It’s part of the attraction of sport, an intense rivalry. Which sadly due to how crap we’ve been we’ve been starved of for most of everyone’s life’s on here.

I’d much rather be going to Huddersfield or Leeds this weekend in a heated local derby than Crawley away.

The only way I’d wish Leeds or Town promotion would be if they were in the league below, as they’re the two clubs above any other I’d like to be in the same division as. But I still wouldn’t make it public that I hoped they had some success.

No excuses now Bowyer. You've got the best attacking players you could ask for at this level, especially when donaldson and devitt are back. Let the shackles off, let's score some goals and win this league.

 

I personally hope Taylor stays. He seldom wastes possession, is a tidy player and possesses a shot. I’d keep him as a squad player.

 

His spacial awareness in the box is clearly evident. Also how fluent his team mates are allowing him that space.It will be interesting to see how Boywer adapts his tactics to allow Doyle this space and time because the contrasting styles between the two teams is quite stark.

 

I think it was £650 000. I heard that when Villa made their offer the then secretary misunderstood and thought they had offered £65 000. She replied that Leeds had already offered £100 000. Then Villa made their offer clear and I understand that the phrase 'snatched their hand off' was never more appropriate.
