The decision was supposedly made yesterday, why can't they just announce it so we can all move on?

Liverpool fans are worse for that, any where you go they're there hanging round like a bad smell. When we went to Gdansk, we went to a bar to watch the Joshua fight and soon as went in you could here one, massive gobshite asking every poor bugger who went what team they supported. Each to their own, but it doesn’t take me any energy too hate Leeds or Twon. A couple of my best mates are Leeds fans, part of the reason I want them too lose is too have banter with them.

It’s part of the attraction of sport, an intense rivalry. Which sadly due to how crap we’ve been we’ve been starved of for most of everyone’s life’s on here.

I’d much rather be going to Huddersfield or Leeds this weekend in a heated local derby than Crawley away.

The only way I’d wish Leeds or Town promotion would be if they were in the league below, as they’re the two clubs above any other I’d like to be in the same division as. But I still wouldn’t make it public that I hoped they had some success.

 

Because its like a new signing, not every day you get to sign the leading goalscorer in the country.

 

Good post and one of the reasons i care less and less about going to matches, poor quality entertainment, lack of atmosphere, no meaningful rivalry as we are languishing two divisions under where our stadium and fanbase deserves to be.

You can't take what Wellens says as gospel. He's acquired a repuation for speaking bollocks when it comes to these things. It's as though he's playing with us and trying to mislead other clubs etc.

He's said in the past that we have no money for signings, only for two to pop up a week later. He's said that players are out on long-term injuries, only for them to start the next game. And so on. I'm hoping the same goes for Saturday and we are able to start with 2 recognised CBs, despite Wellens saying otherwise.

 

I'm not sure we should be, we are where we are because of poor or in our case the wrong decisions being made by one individual playing football manager, and knowing better than anyone else af the club.

 

TBH mate I think it goes further back than that, though progress was well and truly crushed.

 

I was going to have a drive down to training but surely the club would have announce he's back before he goes back to training with the rest of the squad.
Just seems like years.

Agree but as a City fans we didn't expect the sucsess we had under the old regime, would be wrecked in such a short time.
As long as I've followed City we have never had anyone with a fortune willing to invest in the club with a long term plans for the future.
Geoffry Richmond and David Rhodes were as near as it came and we know how that turned out.
