I agree it will be a short window but I refuse to believe that deadline is the 6th, as Swindon was inferring.

More likely, and it's only my opinion, is the recall window will start Monday for 7 days which will take us to around the middle of the month.

Fair enough. We’ve seen in the past replacing a prolific striker is extremely difficult. Since wells we’ve had a succession of inconsistent strikers. If you have someone who fits your system then it’s likely if you have to replace them they won’t be the same fit. It’s in both clubs interest for Doyle to stay but prob more important to Swindon. Pay the money and take the player.

You are most likely right, but the question was why not wait until the end of the month to do the deal. If we’ve decided he’s going and they meet our evaluation it makes sense to wrap it up rather than drag it out, to give us flexibility between now and the end of the month should any funds (to our surprise) be reinvested.

No, t's financed by the club.

 

We are restricted by FFP bringing Doyle back we will be over it unless we get rid of a few players. Also I don't see how Doyle fits into what GB wants.
