Get in there and pile on. We’ve lacked a goal scorer all season and missed loads of open goals. Doyle will get them. We’re going up. Just need a midfield hard man.

From what I can gather, the deadline to recall him was today. In which case, you HAD to recall him regardless of what other deals may be in the works. Otherwise, he would have remained on loan to us for the rest of the season under the terms of the original deal.

If the deal right, fair enough but I prefer Shay to Oteh

I cannot buy into this theory we’ve brought him back in order to force Swindon to give us a better deal. The damage to public relations would be considerable if that were the case. There is now a renewed air of optimism about the club and its supporters. But I agree there had been far too much secrecy about the whole thing. I’ve never known all this business about confidentiality apply so much before. What was wrong with saying the lad’s doing well, we’re bringing back, we’d be daft not to, end of. Ninety percent of loan deals have a break clause to protect all parties. It was hardly a secret.

He was never, ever staying on loan for the rest of the season. Not in a million years.

Swindon have signed Simon Cox. Swindon, Bradford and Doyle have moved on from this saga.

Yes I'd have shay all day long. Devitt also returning soon but cant see him get regular games either. Mite be a bit of a waste of a wage.

An option though. Attacking MF, tip of a diamond, second striker. Gives us options.

I personally hope Taylor stays. He seldom wastes possession, is a tidy player and possesses a shot. I’d keep him as a squad player.

Doyle's first press interview will be very interesting. If he is kept away from the media it would suggest we are waiting for an offer from Swindon.

Taylor does more with the ball than Reeves and Palmer.

Taylor has done ok since he's been here, certainly enough to warrant another deal if we can get rid of those below him in the pecking order.

    From Richie Wellens:

"Is the club making an active attempt to get Eoin back? Let’s just wait and see.
    We want the player back.
He’s Bradford’s player, he’s gone back - we’ll see what develops from there.
It is just where we’re at in terms of our finances that means we have to take loan players and then you run the risk of players being recalled.
We will see what happens in terms of getting Doyle back.
Eoin has come out and said where he wants to be, how he feels.
So we’ll just see what happens over the next couple of days, maybe the next week and then we’ll go from there."

Sounds like a love sick puppy trying to provoke Doyle to throw his toys out the pram. Needs to move on.

Because of Wellens' statement at the press conference.
If Doyle develops a niggly injury at training tomorrow it is even more likely .
