Parliament is closed? Lets face it, we don't notice any difference when its open. Get more sense out of Churchill the nodding dog.

What are they going to do when it's closed
A bit of community service picking up litter and a few menial jobs would be good to focus the mind

Watched the Supreme court hearing this afternoon with the Scottish QC representing the decision the Scottish court gave, What a windbag, He had around two and half or 3 hours allocated and spent most of it waffling on and berating the judges about how UK law was based on Scottish law and how England relied on Scotland for progress and its laws even mentioning McBeth and the only thing the English had in its history of value was 1066 and 1966, The head of the court had to remind him he only had half an hour left if he was going to actually present a case to them, The Scots certainly seem to be in the premier league when it comes to be a long winded windbag,

The great Brexiteer delusion is the idea that if we threaten to leave with No Deal then the EU will cave in and give us concessions. The EU will not give up the backstop, no matter what we threaten and nor will it give us benefits of EU membership without paying our subs. They'd sooner wave is off into the sunset with no deal than compromise their fundamental principles. They've made this clear from the start and they won't shift. The only way we'd get a different deal is to drop May's red lines, which effectively rendered any negotiations dead in the water.
Johnson knows this perfectly well. He knows he has no chance of getting any improvements on the 'leap in the dark' May deal. So he's trying to blame those who want to stop us disastrously jumping off a cliff for the folly and intransigence of his own government. And people like you unquestioningly swallow his bullshit. -

They are incapable of using all the current powers which they have at Holyrood and it's always easier to blame Westminster.

Nevermind elections and another referendum, what i want is parliament to be given the time to check the deal that was passed, largely thanks to 19 labour mps, seeing as the DUP are not happy bunnies with the tories anymore.
If it is a good deal then it doesn't matter if it gets passed by oct 31st or november or december.
It needs scrutiny and that costs time.
If the deal aint that great for workers rights, jobs and checks down the irish sea(boris doesn't lie...........much) then the mps need to be honest with the voting public.

An example being right now the Kurds are some peoples freedom fighters and allies and yet are Turkeys terrorists. Kurdish leaders that are working alongside british SAS commanders are labelled terrorists. Its selective and the Corbyn pictures paint a picture of an out of touch man not a terrorist.

I'm sure that if George Orwell had been commenting on the whole sorry affair, he might have come up with "All MPs are untrustworthy, but some MPs are more untrustworthy than others".
Of course, he did say "The Party seeks power entirely for its own sake. We are not interested in the good of others; we are interested solely in power, pure power."Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand... -

To get the best deal we need to take them to the brink and if needed beyond it, Both Germany and France need our trade desperately and would face huge economic and social problems if it was to happen, We are the 6th largest economy in the world and without access to our markets the EU would fall in to recession and mass unemployment, The cards we hold are more powerful than people realise regards global trade
