Too many idiots about like you about these days, shouting nonsense about complex situations, that really, when it comes down to it, don’t have a fecking clue.

I'd take no deal now. Time to take our medicine, and shut spivs like Mogg and Farage up. Not that they'd take any responsibility at all, of course. They'll just blame all the countries woes on single mums and foreign aid. It definitely won't be the fault of big business, banks and shady billionaires.

They won't be able to blame immigrants for woeful planning of housing and public infrastructure. Now it will be purely down to their bad planning. I wonder who the next scapegoats will be?

He mentions summat about the price of shoes and vassalage, and people wet their pants, it’s weird. Like that *@?$ cares about how much Joe Bloggs is paying for his footwear! He couldn’t give a shit!

And they'll all be able to use their new blue passports when flying to and fro between the UK and the Cayman Islands, British Virgin Islands, Gibraltar, Bermuda etc to count their lolly.

I’d say so, a lot of good callers today. I do enjoy his shows sometimes, I like the fact he lets folk on longer than other presenters, rather than churning them out without listening and/or challenging them..But, his arrogance really gets on my nerves sometimes. Just look at his recent book title, for instance.

Bloke selling chickens and from the chicken council, says his chickens are the best chickens, there’s nothing wrong with his chickens, everyone should buy his chickens.

Tomorrow we have Mr Rothmans on, telling us why smoking 20 a day ain’t really that bad for ya.

Disagree, it wasn't 'undeliverable' it was just not negotiated by commited individuals with the correct belief or attitude...

That's the way to encourage the opposition to take the deal on offer :

European Council President Donald Tusk has spoken of a "special place in hell" for "those who promoted Brexit without even a sketch of a plan of how to carry it out safely".

Was his comment lost in transition, what a complete t**t.

I really don't understand @Bronco@Bronco - why would the EU need a plan? Surely those who leave need to have the plan?

Just given myself a headache reading through this thread. My thoughts (for what they're worth) are that the EU cannot be seen to give us a good deal because the EU would fall apart. We are probably the first of many.

    Things were changing anyway, even if the remainers had won;

The EU wants EVERY EU country to be in the eurozone and have the euro as its currency, that includes us and sweden.

Leavers have been tarred with the living in the past brush but remainers need to accept the EU is changing too.

If we had let the EU sort us out after the banking crisis 2008, the way they dealt with Greece and Spain, massive public sector cuts and interest rates hikes- which would have really caused us problems with our high home ownership then the referendum could easily have become a landslide.

The UK is still around the 5th? largest economy, lets start acting like it!- mps and mediots take note.

Ok it’s fact but it’s also nonsense . It doesn’t matter how many people didn’t vote . That’s not how votes work . The majority of the people who bothered to vote , voted to leave. So it’s merely nonsense talking about figures and ‘facts’ that have no bearing on the outcome of the referendum . It’s this sort of what ifs , should a would a could haves that is delaying what the people voted for . I have personally written to Judith Cummins asking her to resign from her post in south bradford as she is unable to carry out the will of the people of Bradford who voted 54.2 to 45.8 in favour of leaving the EU.

Democracy (Greek: δημοκρατία dēmokratía, literally "Rule by 'People'") is a system of government where the citizens exercise power by voting.

Sad to say, having always voted in every election, I now feel totally disenfranchised! I could not vote for either main party and the betrayal of the Lib Dems (Nick Clegg) still resonates. What an appalling mess.

Both Labour and Conservative MPs were elected on a manifesto to implement Brexit well after the referendum to leave took place and are reneging on that promises they gave when elected, Unless you are implying it is ok to lie to the people and say anything to get elected and then do as you please which would be a strange form of democracy indeed
