I should imagine the Pharma companies who are worth Billions will take care of that if needed rather than lose millions of pounds of sales, There is always a way where money is at risk which is why all the scare stories about leaving the EU are just that, Scare stories, Business will always find a way to trade and make money whether in the EU or not

 

They will but at the start they will be hiccups which is why the government are recommending the wholesales up their stock from the usual 4 weeks to 10 weeks to cover those hiccups which are going to happen. Just look at any new system implemented there are always issues

 

I agree in general but do not believe the EU will let it get that far, The press have concentrated mainly on the problems the UK may face but the EU will also face major problems especially financial if a deal is not done

 

They will also have the save issues with medication from UK and those that have passed regulatory hurdles here.

Because although they are licenced for use in the EU and the UK many of the drugs we use are actually manufactured in India, But as stated there will be no hold up of any drugs from anywhere in the world including the EU. That is just not going to happen but makes a good fear story for the gullible

 

If here is NO deal there probably will be a hold up if some sorts on everything as they will have a clue at border control and NHS will not know what is licensed and what isn’t. I don’t think it will be as major as it is being made out but there will be something

 

The nearer we get to a no deal the more likely there will be one, It was noticeable that the chief EU negotiator who has always said that the EU rules are not negotiable has now altered his position that a special deal for the UK may be possible, Maybe something to do with the pressure of France and Germany on him to agree a deal, They know the implications of a no deal on their countries will be a real problem
