Whaaaaaat???? You mean your going let an unknown coach have the benefit of the doubt without judging him before he's actually signed and before you really know anything about him??? Not sure I understand this concept.

Look at it this way, if new owners had come in, whacked the ticket prices back up, spent silly money on premiership rejects and then cried the poor tale that all the money was going on unsustainable wages I would be running through the streets with a pitch fork and a burning effergy. I don't see any of that yet. All I see are improvements being made to the pitch, shop etc., a willingness to continue offering fans a cheap match day experience and a man taking a fair while finding a head coach. Nothing to get me crying into my pint pot just yet.
Call me old-fashioned but I just can't do with this 24-hour social media drivel where everything's a drama and no news is unacceptable news to the keyboard warriors.Bantam Boy, meelin, Batmanbantam and 5 others like this. -
where have we got the idea that Grayson was making unreasonable demands?
we told him we wanted promotion, then told him what finance was available to achieve that.
he told us realistically thats not enough and I can't get you promotion with that, mid table yes, promotion probably not - we wouldn't alter the budget - grayson left. is that that unreasonable?
and whats more is he's walked out with no other job to go to. he'd sooner be unemployed than work for Bradford City and Edin Rahic.broadsword, Goose, bantam2708 and 5 others like this. -
*Replacing our best players last summer with cheaper and inferior players.
*Building a squad which was short on numbers
*Spending large amounts of money on players who have failed to justify their price tag.
*Shocking PR giving mixed messages to fans.
*The Matter of Heart DVD showing that he micromanages club employees to the extreme
*Having a squad which was the worst performing team in the entire division over the last 20 games of the season. A squad which our chairman has helped build.
*A January transfer window where we failed to land our major targets and took an age to get players in.
*Having very little footballing credentials to justify him getting heavily involved in footballing matters.
*Accepting very little responsibility at the fans forum and instead putting the bulk of the blame on the fans. Poor move.
*Failing to back up big statements.
*A season of regression after reaching Wembley.
* A club legend coming out and pretty much telling everyone what an absolute nightmare Rahic was to work with.
*Season tickets taking a drop
*No signs that lessons have been learnt
*Taking a very very long time to bring in a headcoach which immediately puts as at a disadvantage.
It's difficult to argue that a lot of the criticism isn't self inflicted. The above isn't even taking into comsideration the various rumours circulating around, some of which I have no doubt is true.HUDDERSSBANTAM, CT Bantam, pns1945 and 5 others like this. -

Calm down, all of you, ffs........
CITY are wanting a COACH, not a Manager.
A Person who knows the game, but keeps his trap shut.
No doubt Edin will be recruiting from on here, then. Some know summat and say nowt, whilst others know nowt and have lots to say.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...Kevin1954, punk bantam, The Evidence and 4 others like this. -

Look what happened when parky released Josh Morris everybody said he would have suited McCall style of play . Surely a new coach would like to sift through some of the shite that's left and try to hand pick replacements

To do it the Huddersfield way, will also cost our owners many millions. And it just isn't going to happen.Bronco, Craven Cottager, Utters0 and 4 others like this. -
The chances are, the players we are likely to be signing arent officially off contract yet anyway. Just because we haven't actually signed anyone, doesnt mean the ground work hasn't been done...jesus, the season hasn't even finished yet for crying out loud.

also as a manager, the stats prove he did an excellent job in his latest spell. despite what narrative people like yourself and Park want to put out.thebantamhaslanded, rmbenson007, The Evidence and 4 others like this. -
Kai is 24, McBurnie was 17/18, clearly talented but at a club not noted for youth development and was arguably starting to get the crowd on his back for not scoring every game. Kai is 6 or 7 years older, he’s German so hardly living in an alien culture and first time abroad? Balls, I was living and working abroad in a country whose language I didn’t speak at a similar age and it’s hardly difficult. Yes he may develop with coaching and confidence, but if you think he’s the man to score 15 goals and win games on his own this season you’re mistaken. Or Edin.
Being delighted to be here, will power, coaching and confidence get you so far, you need talent to do the rest.Ricc, RonnieBrown, bantam2708 and 4 others like this. -
