Well there is an ever growing pile of circumstantial evidence mounting. However I do understand that I am not as clever as you, so please excuse me having the audacity to think there is no smoke without fire.

 

Look i'm not one who wants Rahic to fail, christ if he fails we all fail as a club. I just wish after what has felt like car crash TV from January onwards that by now i would be hearing positive news in the form of a managerial appointment, yet we get comments like this in the Mail and from Alan Biggs, a respected journalist and radio broadcaster. Rahic has had since January to get this sorted as Grayson was never going to stay. I called that one straight away. I'm also not bothered who we get in, it could be Hope Powell for all i care, please just get it done so we can move on because we are in danger of looking tinpot.

By the way, if that happens I won’t have organised it. I could only get about fifteen to commit to my suggested demo so there’s no point. I’ll happily join in though if someone can get more of our brethren to participate.

Anyone know what happen with the meeting between Edin and the guy who sent him that letter that was posted in WOTP, did it happen or did either party cop out ?.

 

Hi Bronco, not been on for a few days as I do coaching and been busy but to be fair I did post last week saying I had info we were close to an appointment. The person who told me is a friend and very close to the club but also ultra responsible i.e. would never tell me names or say anything that could jeopardise things if it was in the open. The info given was correct, 2 candidates were being spoken to end of last week and not for first time, Stefan was back specially for these meetings and subsequently another name entered the fray at the last minute (presumably Heckingbottom after the situation at Leeds evolved). The person I know honestly thought an appointment would come after these meetings - although probably not announced until later in this current week, and this was largely in line with what Edin himself was saying middle of last week. My friend is a massive City fan, as am I, and I know they are worried about the delay and the reasons for it as not sure what they are - meaning if these 2 candidates were the final 2 of the 'high quality' applications we were told we had received then why has one of them not been appointed now Hecky is supposedly out of the running. I am not sure if Stefan is still about or has returned to Germany. We can only hope the delay is because we are holding out to get the best coach we possibly can - and not waiting until a 'puppet' coach is appointed late in the day so Edin can maintain his control of all aspects inc input on the playing side. We have to take the owners at their word that lessons have been learned and whilst the long term development of the club is a very worthwhile ambition to have, it has to run hand in hand with a results and performance based model - fans dont buy season tickets for next season to see something come to fruition in 5 years time. I know I am not saying anything new and dont post on here to claim I am in the know - I am a die hard fan and love this club and am as keen as the rest of us to see us continue to move Bradford City forward (not counting last seasons second half blip)

 

If you do coaching, how about throwing your hat in the ring for the job mate!

 

You haven't told us anything we Don't already know, mate. Wasted words, really.

 

I am only an FA Level 2 Coach Idle so probably less badges than our esteemed leader - but might have to give it serious thought if this goes on much longer!!

 

Probably drives one if he's a mate of Bronco's.

Sorry, I didn't Know "A LEVELS" in ENGLISH was a requisition to be allowed on the forum. Rather than nit picking trivia, why not debate the issues.

I didn't see many agreeing with Daily Mail when they ran the (Lies) stories about the fire not been an accident.

 

At least I Don't spout drivel like "I know someone really high up in the club, but can't tell you anything". We've already had enough loonies spouting nonsense like this. You're just another one of them. Stick to coaching. You might eventually get somewhere, especially if you've a mate ITK at the club.

 

Just remember this point, robbie stockdale got interviewed twice yet Edin still turned him down with no other coach ready to be named.

Unless, of course stockdale could not work under Edin's conditions.
