Biggs has nothing to do with the Daily Mail article though. He’s another journalist who was asked on Twitter if, in his opinion, the article was credible and whether he’d heard similar.

As for saying nobody has said it’s lies.... you did. You claimed he was making it up based on comments on this very site. Even now you are suggesting they make it up for retweets and hits.

It won’t matter who

Biggs mentions the Daily mail article in his tweet . He said he n has nothing to with the club because we are not in the championship. So we can discount him because his views are patently second hand

 

Whatever the truth, I find it baffling how anyone who witnessed the premiership fall-out can say they've never been so worried (not directing this at you in particular, that's not what you said).

I was worried for our future when we were hours away from a winding-up order so I'm not having sleepless nights over finishing 11th in the league and taking the first part of the summer to look for a manager.
Do I like it? Not much. Am I convinced by Edin? Not particularly. Do I feel a need to run through the streets of Bradford with a pitch fork and a burning effergy? No, not really, got better things to do. Some of you just need to calm down and stop getting swept away by baseless rumours and hearsay, especially from Daily Mail journos.

What worries me in terms of damage to the club is all this negativity being brought about largely by a small number of 'fans' with an internet connection and too much time on their hands.

 

Not true.

If you write your piece based on facts you have ascertained, even without quotes from the club, it is still factual.

If you have evidence, even if you are unable to divulge their evidence to protect the source, it doesn’t make it an opinion.

 

Great post and I agree.

They are doing some brilliant things for this club. Bringing the club shop back in house and revamping that side of things slowly and where they can. New pitch and drainage system with a company working on it who are responsible for some of the best pitches around. Add to that the training ground being relaid. Maintaining the cheap ticket deal.

All this has been diluted by the mixed messages and baffling decisions on the pitch and with coaching staff. We seem to take an age to make a decision on players, either through lack of knowledge or just naivety for the English game. Or poor decision making which is now transferring over to the decision on coaching side of things.

We had a coach in McCall. He was never an old school manager and seemed to fit with the role. Making it work despite his obvious problems with parts of it. We get rid of him for an old school manager and then he turns us down so we are going for a coach again. Round in circles.

We’ve now spent weeks chasing managers it seems don’t want to come for one reason or another and are no further forward. Despite the owners saying in the media we are close. Why I don’t know? Just keep quiet.

We are leaving ourselves playing catch up for the 3rd summer running now. Not helping anyone

You should know by now, if they can’t successfully argue the post, they try to belittle the poster.

Park your posts are getting more and more illogical. Biggs says he doesn’t frequent VP these days, BUT it is common knowledge in the media circles of how Edin is running the club.

Why are his views second hand and thus should be discounted?

What did you say in your last post. In his tweet he refers to the Daily mail article. Common knowledge as he puts it is title title nothing more

I remember posting "wait & see" in January, not believing that in all the available time, before and during, they could possibly *@?$ up simple things good and proper and let us down............. again, but it was me left looking like a *@?$. The penny dropped then, albeit a little late, I am sure this is going to a reet good *@?$ up of an appointment.

I was with you until the last paragraph. I think you'd be surprised at the amount of fans who are expressing their distrust and discontent with edin, it certainly isn't a "small number". And when edin's bad traits are common knowledge among the journalism world, with multiple journalists revealing his deficiencies, I'm shocked that you believe it all stems from a few rumours on sites like these.

I get what you mean about negativity, but really, there's naff all to be positive about. Every day there's a new piece of news about the owners, manager search, transfer window that pisses people off tenfold. The club needs positivity but it has to start from them and then it'll filter through the fans.

I don't think it's come from nothing. I think it's come from people not liking Edin's approach because they don't think it will work. Do I equal that to meaning he's ruining the club... no, not at all, because I haven't seen any hard evidence of it (yet).

Look at it this way, if new owners had come in, whacked the ticket prices back up, spent silly money on premiership rejects and then cried the poor tale that all the money was going on unsustainable wages I would be running through the streets with a pitch fork and a burning effergy. I don't see any of that yet. All I see are improvements being made to the pitch, shop etc., a willingness to continue offering fans a cheap match day experience and a man taking a fair while finding a head coach. Nothing to get me crying into my pint pot just yet.

Call me old-fashioned but I just can't do with this 24-hour social media drivel where everything's a drama and no news is unacceptable news to the keyboard warriors.
