Who the vast majority thought Doyle was a good signing at the time.

I was one of them, he's been disappointing. Would benefit playing with someone physical alongside him.

Doyle is one of the current squad who I think with the right manager and a correctly set up team playing to the strengths of everyone instead of having 11 players chucked together, could make an impact next season.

 

Lets hope your correct a mediocre season in 2019/20 will not be good enough we need to be at least a play off team.

 

When Doyle use to play for Oldham he use to concentrate in getting into the box.

At Bradford he seems more trying to drop deep.

We've a slow team as it is and what you don't want are your forwards dropping deep. Don't think he helps himself.

Not convinced he's the answer even in div 2.

 

Doyle is above average I guess at League Two level, but i imagine his wage will be very, very top end and could prevent us bringing in options.

 

Imagine a player in good form, doing his bit to get a team promoted to league one, then his club bringing him back to league two.
