I doubt he has told anyone he is unwilling to come back.
He is not in our plans and he still has a good length of contract left. The best thing to do is leave him there and let him get game time. If Lincoln get promoted, with a good bit of influence from him, it will up his value and make him more attractive to other teams. If we call him back he will be a bench player behind Payne, decrease in value and we will probably release him at the end of the year and have to pay compo to him. This is the best option for both parties and people are thinking way to much into it (including me).

 

Haven't read the article yet but are we so hard up that whatever Lincoln are paying toward his wages means we can't afford to recall him?

 

I really hope that the salaries are wrong otherwise we have no chance of getting rid before the end of their contracts.

I was younger and not so wiser back then so can refuse the bait now. I was also in a relationship then as well so it was a nice distraction not to have to speak to her I'm single now and my moods are a lot mellower now I don't have the earache from her on a daily basis.

 

All depends on whether we want him. If we don’t then better someone else pays his wages or a proportion of it
