    Whilst true in part, I have to correct you in that Jones DID get onto the pitch yesterday. He played almost 30mins against Tranmere

    And to think McCall managed to keep
    Us in the top 6 for a full half season with these players who cant seem to make it even in league 2

    Jones has been injured and cant blame him, but the others, patrick, gibson, mcCarten, and the two who went to crawley, thats like half a full team have all had time to play in league 2 and havnt exactly totally smashed it, McCarten has done ok but hes not a fixed started or playing full 90 mins every match is he?

    How McCall managed to keep us in top 6 with these players is crazy.... and then the inevitable happened

    And he did that whilst adhering to the ridiculous forced attacking philosophy of wanting to win every game 4-3.

    Glad to see Scunny stuck with him and he turned things around, though not the least bit surprised he did.

    Imagine if they beat us to seal relegation!

    Stuart is a great bloke and we all love him. He did a remarkable job when under terrible pressure from Rahic, but a good manager he ain't. Good no.2 but not a manager.

    I don't know... didn't do too bad with us the second time around. Seemed to get something from players, which none of our managers have done this season.

    Would be interesting to see what he would do with this current squad (purely hypothetical). Probably wouldn't touch this team with a barge pole

    Yeh I've seen it, so what? Good goal but he was shite for us and league 2 is his level. He might come in handy next year though.
