WOAP is wrong and is a vehicle for bitter and twisted ex employees looking to cause maximum damage.

If you can make that claim, then perhaps you can identify who you think they are?

Given that Rahic left several weeks ago, then they may still have anger at his behaviour, but why would they try to cause ‘maximum damge’ to City at this stage?

WOAP should reveal its source who it claims had access to details of players wages. Why make claims that average players are on huge wages at a time when we are trying to recruit and keep good players? Why now?

I've been in business long enough Bronco to have the decency not to break the code of silence when it comes to peoples wages. It would not surprise me if sinister forces are lurking in the shadows; happy for city to be relegated in order to drive the price down of the club.

What the hell happened to the low basic, high bonus wage structure he introduced?

Just shows how he seriously lost the plot last year. What was Abbott’s role in all this? He should have left sooner and let the fans know exactly what that idiot was doing to our club.

What a mess we are in...

I accept what you say with regards being in business, but if you are claiming others are making stuff up then you have to back that up with facts.
There were many posters quoting the bust up with regards Edin& Stuart after Wembey they got dogs for suggesting it, then if turns out to be true.

Yes they do return after their loan expires. His doesn’t expire until end of season so the last game hasn’t happened yet. That hasn’t changed since he signed the season long loan.

Rahic realised what no doubt McCall had told himthe previous season. You cannot have a unique pay structure that only City is adopting. He found out players won’t come! He therefore ending up offering ludicrous amounts of wages to bog standard ordinary players. I am trying not to think about the waste of a season, and may also see us relegated.

McCarten is a shrinking violet then. If he isn’t willing to come back then we can consider his City career over.

One of the worst 250k we’ve ever spent and another master signing from messrs Rahic and Abbott, to go with Reeves and Poleon. None were worth their fees. So much for signing players with the right character.

Paul Taylor was better value than all until he disappeared off the face of the Earth.

Who has said he isn’t willing to come back. He has said he is enjoying his time at Lincoln but what else would you expect him to say? That he wants to come back from a team he is contracted to for another 6 months.

    Today’s T & A

“Meanwhile, City will allow Shay McCartan to stay at League Two table-toppers Lincoln for the rest of the season. The Irishman scored a superb volley against Swindon at the weekend – the fifth goal of his loan.”

Did you not see our bench on Saturday? I’d be flabbergasted if City haven’t spoken to Shay. We call the shots, not Shay. If we wanted to cut short his loan and were being awkward, we could.

Its like the situation we are in with Ball. He’s unwilling to work with Warne anymore but we’re at the mercy of Rotherham if he stays or is returned (albeit to potentially upset the mood at the parent club).

So I’ll ask again. Has he said he is unwilling to return? Or are you putting one and one together and getting fifty two?

If DH wanted him back he would be back, end of story. What Shay wants doesn’t really come into it

You’ve answered your own question right there.

No player is gonna come out publicly and say they won’t play for their parent club again. So there won’t be any quotes to find.

Exactly. That is what I am saying. I was replying to your claim that Shay wasn’t willing to come back.

It's entirely possible shay has told Hopkin he doesn't want to come back, and as Hopkin has already said he only wants players here who want to be here and give everything.

They are top of the league, at a good club for the level, and he’s got his mojo back. He’s good enough for L2 and comfortable doing what he’s doing. Its easy to see why he’d wanna stay.

Do we let him stay and try maintain some sort of value in the summer? We’d be very lucky to get half the 200k ish we spent if he’s only got 12 months left then.

Or do we put our foot down and recall him? He’s better than Omari and we recalled him. Do we just write off whatever value he may hold to us with a full season at Lincoln under his belt and hope he can provide cover and weigh in with the odd sub goal from a cameo? If that helps us survive it could be worth more than the fee we could recoup for him down the line.

Its a tricky one, especially when we don’t know the situation with Payne until Weds. given the team have been working well in the main lately, do you risk upseting that harmony by bringing Shay back here?

His beef shouldn’t be with Hopkin, who he’s never worked under here, but he’d no doubt be anxious RE the fan support, as he looked a white elephant before.

Suppose we’ve just gotta trust DH on this one.......
