No thanks. I’m pretty happy with the current owners and I’m happy to wait and see where this current plan/structure is going to take us. It makes sense though, there cant be any rumours of manager and chairman falling out now so a new, crappy rumour is needed.

It’d be nice to have at least a couple of months without some kind of destabilising rumour.

You can only drive them out if there is somebody to buy and they want to sell. You only have to look at Coventry, Orient, Blackpool and Blackburn to see very unpopular owners who are still there after years of protests.

I am firmly in the camp of largely agreeing with their overall strategy but thinking they are executing it completely in the wrong way and alienating all the people they need on their side, local business and fans.

Having said that in my opinion I’d rather have a committed Rupp and Rahic trying their best, accepting they’re making mistakes and learning from them, than a Rupp and Rahic who have lost all interest, are never seen in Bradford but can’t find a buyer. Be careful what you wish for.

Yeah! Because Gibb was so caring about the club when he nearly put us out of business with his brinkmanship and of course cuddly Jack was great support for Dolan when we needed to spend some money

Hilarious stuff. I can only imagine that the 84 others, who liked your post, must be under the age of 13 or lost their memory for the years 1986 to 2005 ;)

Friggin hell, if this happens then I will be worried

Wasn't it GG that bought the ground for 5 million in order for us to survive? Wasn't it also Gibb who said that there was no need to go into admin but Rhodes forced it so he could have his train set to himself? Truth is with Gibb we weren't going for a 2nd admin and the truth is we only really survived the first one (of this era) because of him? For once in your life take your fecking blinkers off

Like Gibb or not............it is down to him that we have a football club today, as he was the only one who came up with the money to save us last time by buying the ground and putting up money for the administrators.

Woah there Dave. Two massively different things. Tordoff was asked to invest in a couple of players that Dolan believed we needed to get over the line. Tordoff knew we had Hendrie and McCall should we not get promoted, so an instant refund if needed.

Richmond borrowed money to build the ground and sign the players we needed to get us into the Premier League. It wasn’t THIS action that caused the years of pain. It was his stupidity of not building on the previous year and instead trying to buy success with borrowed money.

One took a risk that we couldn’t afford, whilst one refused to take a risk that we could afford. And that action from Tordoff will ALWAYS grate with our fans as a result.

    I'm not in favour.

    Need stability not more nonsense.

We keep asking whether the owners have really learnt lessons well we've kept most of the team together and improved defence which was awful last year. Also we're not seeing a procession of Patricks, Pybus's, Barr's etc like last season which suggests we're more focused on the first team.

It feels like it's heading in the right direction and I'm certainly willing to give it time this season.

I think you’ll find all the brinksmanship was from the other side. Fact is if Gibbs pension hadn’t bought the stadium we’d be afc Bradford city in the northern premier league

I take this as positive. No need to make enemies with anyone. Always try and err on the side of building and maintaining positive relationships

I’d prefer to stick with Rupp and Rahic at the minute. This season is the first time we will operate under pretty much their own structure and ideas, with no hangovers on and off the pitch from previous.

If it falls on its arse then we can’t say they haven’t tried it. These ideas don’t get implemented overnight, they are entering their third season and their path and vision is clear.

I’m looking forward to seeing what happens.

If we're bottom half this season, it's time to consider the ownership.

We can't allow ourselves to go backwards year-on-year.

We've made a 'brave' managerial appointment on the back of some bizarre hyper-lengthy interview process that 100 %, absolutely did not work, and we've completely dismantled the squad that scored year-on-year progress.

Consider it 'full implementation' for the R+R model.

We need results, even if we can't quite nail promotion just yet.

What will not be acceptable is to be struggling come Christmas and looking to replace the head coach given how long we've had to get the right man in in the first place.

Sink or swim, R+R, and if we start sinking, you need to start selling.

Not ideal at all, it's the third season Dave. You know I'm not a fan of the strategy. But it is what it is, they are the owners, investors and they can decide on the strategy and vision for the future.

Truthfully, I'm fed up of the negativity. Not of you or anybody specific but the general overtures around the club. It was horrible that second half of last season, not just because of the owners but beyond, in the case of players, media (social) and supporters, of which I didn't help!!

It's a game. A Saturday afternoon or Tuesday night with friends and my son. Quality time. My expectations are lowered from a football prospective but not in terms of friends and family.

Most owners don't, hence why Villa are close to administration with a Billionaire owner. There seems to be a misconception on here that we don't have a pot to piss in because our owners won't throw money at it, even the likes of Utd, Liverpool and Arsenals owners don't stick their hands in their pocket, most just borrow against the club(see Bolton, Sunderland etc.) Only Man City, Wigan, Chelsea and Wolves I can think of in recent times where the owners have really gone for it at their own cost.

If these two get in nothing will change.

Incorrect. Are you telling me Allardyce will have selected the same group of (obviously the best players) and played them? Ok try this. It's about having a policy, being brave enough to stick to it. That's similar

If he's Yorkshire it's a virtue then, but if he came from somewhere like Germany he'd be vilified for not giving his euros away
