How do you mean "So what".
I know that's what they do because I actually wrote as much.
It was meant as an addendum to Bigrod's post re good return for the pension fund, not a criticism if that's how you took it.

...and a great car too - hers not yours! What more could a man want. By the way you might be giving her away....I'm sure not many ladies in Bradford drove such a rare car!!!!!

Firstly we have been to Wembley on three occasions. He could have got a ticket (hell a box) without too much difficulty.

Secondly Julian Rhodes has as I understand it, ceased to have any formal involvement with City over two years ago. There have been numerous home matches since then!

We have played many away games which he could have gone to between 2004 - 2016!

    Don't be so condescending.
Oh and I suggest you get back on topic, or start a new thread on the 80's and dogging.

Yes your right I'll pass your comment on the next time we go to Flamingo Land, or drop his PA an email and put your point to her.
Unlike you to under react to a comment.

Didn’t Rahic ‘lose’ us a £1m+ sponsorship deal? That is something that need not have happened and may be a trigger for what has now occurred. Let’s not forget, Jack is still a key sponsor at the club and for him to back Gibbs in this way must be serious. He’s a Life President and shirt sponsor and will know that Gibbs speaking out like this will not go down well with Rahic.

You would have to surmise, therefore, that he felt the need to do so, irrespective of the repercussions to him. Would he have done so if he feels we are not at risk?

The £1m ‘sponsorship’ deal that Edin ‘lost’ wasn’t a sponsorship deal as such it was the catering deal. So unless we either have no income from the catering this year he hasn’t lost it, just gone with someone else. It is something that can only be sold once, so surely it is about getting the best deal possible

That doesn’t sound as good for the Edin bashers though.

Had a lovely dream last night about Gibb and Tordoff bringing McCall back as manager, a proper British style manager, with freedom to give out big contracts to his mates he's worked with before, made me feel all warm inside.

I reckon it will happen by October.

If we're bottom half this season, it's time to consider the ownership.

We can't allow ourselves to go backwards year-on-year.

We've made a 'brave' managerial appointment on the back of some bizarre hyper-lengthy interview process that 100 %, absolutely did not work, and we've completely dismantled the squad that scored year-on-year progress.

Consider it 'full implementation' for the R+R model.

We need results, even if we can't quite nail promotion just yet.

What will not be acceptable is to be struggling come Christmas and looking to replace the head coach given how long we've had to get the right man in in the first place.

Sink or swim, R+R, and if we start sinking, you need to start selling.

Recruitment so far has promise and on budget..the true test now, or if things need a push in January, will be how well they spend their money. Imperative to get their homework right and invest in quality that can step straight in and hit the ground running for us and add improvement if needed.

Recruitment is what it is they must believe they have got the best for their outlay, preseason is just that, getting used to each other and getting fit, that's why I questioned Collins comment about starting as we mean to go on IE winning from the off, the serious stuff starts at Shrewsbury, then as with any other manager/coach there's no hidding place, its your name on the line.

What I was suggesting was, as far as we know, we haven't splashed out on fees for the present recruits and this is, as you say Dave...as it is. My point was that we would be hoping to underpin what we now have, with a smidgen of proven quality. This would mean parting with some dosh and would be a true measure of their ability in that market place.

Sense of humour bypass working well then. If you want a serious forum that stays on track and has no humour try Bradford Politics In The Pub
