Chilled. Half decent away point, curry, watching Norwich win. I've actually had a really nice afternoon/ evening. That's why I'm not going to lose my sh#t because we didn't win today. Yes we're third bottom but I think things are getting better and compared to Wycombe at home....?

I generally try to be pleasant to people whether I agree with their point of view of not. "You're pardoned by the way". Arrogance.

 

What difference does it make how long i’ve been part of ‘the city story’? And what is a real problem and why are you using that as some sort of yard stick?

I follow my football team, part of that is an emotional attachment to what happens week in week out.

 

I was only listening on the radio today but it sounded like Chicksen had a decent game and he and Wood seemed to combine quite well. That's what it sounded like anyway. Anyone who was there confirm?

 

Fordy, to be clear our mindset was right today - just lacked a killer instinct in front of goal. Wycombe have only lost 4 of 16 home games and are well above us so 2 pts dropped is a harsh assessment

 

They did ok ahar - Chicksen was steady and made very few mistakes, occasionally his distribution could have been better but if he plays like this for the rest of the season no probs. Wood is def better going forward so the combination worked pretty well, and CW fired in a couple of great low crosses which were crying out to be finished

 

Not in terms of the game.

We should of won and with that in mind it's 2 points dropped mate.

Apart from the top 6 team we need to be thinking we can beat the others. We need too.

Draws are no good!!

 

We’ve now taken 18 points from the last 11 games which is play off form,so we are improving after an awful start. We don’t need to win them all to stay up, another 7 wins out of the remaining 15 will do it. A good point today and if we do go down it won’t be because we only drew at Wycombe it will be because of getting just 14 points from first 20 games.

 

He seems to have really grown into that left midfield kind of role but he has some defending nous in his head to not get lost up the pitch and support the defence. I think Hopkin likes the team to be solid so he could continue to feature for us I reckon.

 

I will remind you of that when we stay up by 1 point.

What you say if we go down won’t matter a jot to me, I will be too miserable to be sociable.

 

We've brought Clarke in to compete with him on sitters missing, gonna be a close call.

 

There's no doubt our current form WILL keep us up.

Which is one of the reasons I'm not panicking because we didn't sign some more options, and reinforced the aspects we're already doing very well.

The idea we had to really push the boat out and strengthen the first XI exponentially really isn't fair on the current XI who HAVE turned our season round in terms of form, if not yet league position.

 

Keeping up play off form is a big ask.

All these points and we're still in the bottom 4.

We've two home games next and we need to win both.

Once we're out of the bottom 4 then I believe we will stay out of it but we need to get out of it soon or we will go down.

 

Great use of the word exponentially. Improve our home form and we've got play off form.
