Probably had a few assists in there somewhere. Don't get me wrong he could and hopefully will do better as we improve.

Ok, just got back to Woking from the game (did stop for a beer on the way home) and overview - it was bloody cold, no problem with the effort or attitude of the team today, and a draw was probably about right (but there were spells where it was ours to win today)

Wycombe started well and pressed us back and, not unexpectedly, they had some late pressure which created a couple of scary moments. But in between I honestly thought we were the better team - there was a spell where Payne started to really boss the game and we had to take advantage then. Massive shout for a pen but it was at the other end so difficult to comment more at this stage.

Plus points - good defensive effort all round (Fordy, your mate was a rock today!), Caddis was also so solid and good support going forward, Akpan continued to be a bit more prominent and as mentioned, Payne (+ Caddis and Wood) put some great balls into the box but we just didnt get on the end of them. Good to see Butterfield and Clarke get on the pitch (nice to have some subs who could potentially make a difference)

Sadly Ball and Doyle were pretty quiet (and Miller when he got on) and it would be remiss not to say a couple of wonderful crosses were crying out for a goal hungry striker to snap them up - very frustrating.

But overall not a bad result, its a very friendly club and they are def punching above their weight - but we matched them in every area today. Over 500 City fans there which was a great effort, particularly with the dodgy weather.

To be effective you have to bring something to the party, Doyle was bought to score goals. If you aint scoring you need to be bringing others into the game to do just that.

Yes I know, but I think it is a head thing, he just seems more confident with someone up there with him. We could try it and see if itworks?

Have to agree. How many times does a lone striker work well.

Disappointed not to get 3 points today obviously.....but, compare today with the home game against them. We are getting better...bit by bit surely. Plus....no ones going to kidnap your kids because Doyle's been a bit average again. It's time for some folk on here to get a girlfriend/boyfriend or some lube and stop fcking fretting!

Doyle needs a strike partner to get the best out of him.Payne can create and when Billy is up to scratch either could produce chances for Doyle.

We’re third from bottom and have played a game more than others around us. Pardon me for feeling a little bit worried at our predicament.

Doyle needs to grow a set and start converting some of the chances he’s missing.

He needs to sharpen up there's no doubt about it.He's been played alone up front and that's not his game but as you say he's been missing some sitters lately and we can't afford to keep doing that.

I make it 4 and 4 for Doyle.

The Hanson comment interested me enough to look up his stats, as I recall he just didn't take penalties for us -- wasn't there something that he missed one early on -- under Parkinson? -- and so didn't take any more? Anyways, it seems that of his 77 league goals for us, only 1 was a penalty, against Wimbledon in one of his last matches for us. None of his 14 Cup or Playoff goals came from the spot. He did score in some penalty shootouts though, didn't he?

They may have deserved three point but looking at the respective teams and their records it was definitely a point gained

It was 2 points dropped today.

We will go down with your mindset.

So we play Fleetwood next. What should we getting from that?

We can't afford draws. We need wins and certainly we the team we're playing are playing poorly.

Your predicament thank you. How long have you been part of the City story? How many times have we had reason to be worried? You're pardoned btw but what are you like when you come up against a real problem?
