And our goal difference may be a considerable factor. Crikey, Rochdale must have had a reet finish to the season

I’d like to say it’s been nice knowing you, but it hasn’t. You really are a pathetic specimen. Hope you have a shit life - I’m blocking you.

When a team in the bottom 4 gets a point at a team looking at the play offs it’s not 2 points dropped

I’m sure I read on another thread someone saying that Hopkin needed to show some class. Can’t for the life of me remember who though.

Exactly, Wycombe unbeaten in 5 with 11 points. I feel some of our support believe/think/deny that a team like Wycombe are not a better team than ours based upon the table and form.

Doyle up front on his own just doesn't work. That's why we were supposed to sign a target man wasn't it? I like his perseverance, but it's just not working out for him. His touch was poor today, and he even had one slap bang on his forehead that he put wide. Not sure what to do. Dropping him for Miller will be the same but different. Would love to see us playing two up front, with full backs whipping the ball in. Both Caddis and Wood put some lovely crosses into the box today, so it shows we can do it without wingers.

Payne and OB were as usual, outstanding today, as was O'Connor. Goal line clearances seem to be his thing. Should have killed the game off, but half time came too early. I don't think they really looked like scoring, and it was our defence making their pinballs look like attempts on goal really.

Wouldn't be suprised to see Ball rested for Clarke. He took a couple of nasty knocks today, and will certainly be feeling it tmrw.

Disappointed we didn't win this - don't wanna single anyone out, but I do point the finger suggestively at Doyle.

They might be "looking at" the play offs but they ain't going to get there. Might struggle next season. Still, a draw at a team who've won 8 of their last ten home games is decent.

A point is something, but we need to start picking up the odd unexpected win away from home. Look at Argyle today, i know peterborough aren’t unbeatable but really Burton and Wycombe, 3 points at one would have been a real bonus and not beyond the realms of possibility. We should have a mindset that we can go and win these games, obviously that will come if we can keep unbeaten but throw in the odd ‘southend’ and it starts looking really tough again. Need to follow up with a win really, we need to put another wee run together. Unless we want it to go to the wire.

    WINNER

    Perspective at last

At the beginning of the season, when the fixtures came out, this would have been seen as a dissapoint9ng result. Not now though

They're looking at the play offs because they've won 8 out of 10 at home. Couldn't beat us though. Cause for optimism.

True. But show me a striker who has turned a half chance into a goal. It's swings and roundabouts.

Not having a go at you, but what is Doyles goals (from open play) appearances ratio this season? Not really great is it? But - he does take a nice penalty.

to be fair it's hard to score goals in a sheet team.

I still think we need to play two up top, one of them with Doyle. It might work.

Lets be fair Doyle would not be playing league one football if he scored even two out of three chances, you're a hard taskmaster.

Putting any pre-conceived ideas aside, and viewing the game for what it was on the day, that was 2 points dropped. My Wycombe supporting mates freely admit that City should have won that game, 2 points missed out on, dropped, whatever phrase you want, we should have had 3 points today.
