    Also according to some on here, its a no brainer for Vernam , so why after nearly three week since our season ended , he has not signed for them. Maybe its not as clear cut as some think.

    Lincoln or anyone else is pretty irrelevant really. Their agents will be playing the field trying to get the best deal for their client. ( They get a cut I believe?)
    Once they get a better offer from another club they will go back to City and try for more.

    If he's in demand and has any sense he'll take a good few weeks to just relax with his family and switch off. He can then consider his options once he's back from holiday and fully recharged.

    Surely that's what any sensible person would do if they had multiple options?

    If he does have all these offers then maybe you can understand him taking his time.
    But, we are constantly being told how hard the cost of living is at the moment, if it was me i would make the decision pretty quick for fear of said offers being withdrawn and the clubs involved moving on. Vernam is a league 2 footballer after all and there are plenty out there looking for work. He could finish up like Robinson on £600 per week.

    Players should get ten minutes from us issuing our offer to accept it, if not then we don't want them as they clearly don't love the club.
