I'm glad he has gone along with Doyle, only interested in money and themselves, Bradford to them both are just an employer who pays well, they both have the mind set they are too good for Bradford City and we are lucky to have them!
This is completely the opposite to what McCall as a player under Trevor Cherry and more recently Parkinson promoted in a team / squad environment.
Loyalty and pride mean feck all to these type of players. Would have loved for big Bobby Campbell to give them both a wake up call in training.
I'm quietly optomistic Stuart will bring someone in who is the correct "fit" for the team.

Two words.
Gardening leave.
Two more words.
Transfer list.
There are plenty more two word phrases we could have directed towards Vaughan that would NOT have strengthened a rival, but I guess the pennies come before actually running the club in a ruthless and effective manner.Asafa, bantam2708 and NorthernMonkey like this. -
Footballers mindset has changed.
McCall is at the level he is at as a manager because he might be still in the 80's.
You need fighters, hungry players in your team.

All we have is a owner who says he will fund us going forward who ain’t really that interested it seems day to day. A man who signs the cheques it seems. But there is nothing to stop him turning off the taps and saying the clubs now for sale. Is there?
We keep banging the drum before about how big our budget was but it seems we are now praying for a salary cap to stop that. It might help us who knows but I only see it as a detriment to a club our size to be level with others. We should be using our big gates and pull to get out of this league. Ah the propaganda BS has started.. More pointless BS is yet to come. Something is afoot.
The only thing the mouth piece need to concentrate on is getting the right players we need to get of league 2. It's called a plan. Those running the club no nothing about.bantam2708 and Fordy117 like this. -
Edin has gone and we all need to move the F on! Stop using Edin as an excuse.
Rhodes need to step the F up! Ryan step up and Rupp step up or they can all leave!
Fans need to really stop making excuses for failure and Bradford City is a failure of a club at this moment. Luck for Bradford is that things can change in football but I want to see plans for the future now. It's time to kick on and move on!Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... I take this more as an article created by Sparks to defend his job, rather than gee up the fans. Agree with @Fordy117 that the Edin excuse has been rolled out for far too long now. If Rupp had any balls, he'd be stopping his main PR guy from even mentioning his name again. It does, unfortunately, all point to the fact that Sparks doesn't have any positives in the offing, instead he's setting the club up in ways of excuses for failure. CV19 has probably been a God send for those who run the club

Good luck with the communication Ryan, I for one am struggling to be mildly interested in football at the moment, never mind the goings on at Bradford City.
The return of the premiership has done little to lift my enthusiasm. The very real threat of a second wave makes me doubt that crowds will be allowed back in until a vaccine is up and running. Add to the that the prospect of league 2 football and I’m sure you can see where I’m coming from.
Maybe I’ll feel differently when it’s my team playing. -
Unfortunately for City we have an ex chairman and now CEO in charge who has neitherFordy117 and Hoochy-Min like this. -
Here's a break down of deals Julian Rhodes engineered dealt with during his time at Valley Parade in no particular order.
Oli McBurnie – Initial fee to Swansea around £250k with add on for subsequent moves. When the final payment is received at end of this season, the total will be in excess of £3m.
Nahki Wells – coming through our Development squad an initial fee to Huddersfield Town plus add on's for goals and appearances plus % of next transfer, an estimated £2.9m in total.
George Green – Initial fee to Everton £300k and on's based on progress, unfortunately it didn’t work out.
Niall Heaton – Initial fee to Liverpool then and on's based on progress as with George Green Niall didn't progress as City would have liked, estimate £60k.
Scott Brown from the Development squad move on to St. Johnstone nominal fee.
Tom Cleverley – Small fee but the add on's for future transfer, unfortunately for City he ran his contract down at Manchester United, but we still got some money as % of his loan fee to Watford at the time, estimate £100k.
Fabian Delph coming through our Development squad – went to Leeds at 14 but Julian Rhodes negotiated a sell on, Villa agreed an undisclosed fee with Leeds for the transfer of Delph to Villa Park, not sure how much but it was a significant amount.
Andy O’Brien – came through our Youth set up after being release by Leeds, he was later sold to Newcastle for £2m.
Andre Wisdom – Signed for Liverpool as a fourteen-year-old in January 2008 for what his Bradford youth team manager Peter Horne implied was an unprecedented fee for a League Two youngster.
Jake Wright – Never impressed at valley Parade and was moved on Halifax Town for small fee, estimate £50k.JonButterfield and Offside like this. -

We have consistently overspent but always balanced the books under Rhodes because he has shown ambition.
We were on the verge of promotion to the Championship under Rhodes because he showed ambition.
Rhodes sold the club to R and R because his resources did not match his ambition.
There is a lot of confused discussion about selling players (essential), not buying a multi million pound training facility (not viable or profitable) and where we are now (not Rhodes' fault). -
But take Phil Parkinson and Mark Lawn out of the equation and we would have had exactly what we have now NOTHING
Don't think negotiating a massive ground rent could be classed as saving us from "The Chancer"
We came out second best in that one as well -
-
Christie to be fair was not the only alleged con man that managed to fool Rhodes, Inter sonic Telecoms and others including a PL players father who conned the club he was investing despite having no money,
