Dont blame you at all mate for feeling that way, my main hope is the club MUST know how this is going to look if they dont have an adequate replacement lined up - be a lot more pissed off fans joining you! As I said in last post losing Vaughan, who has obviously wound Stuart up with his half hearted efforts, is not the issue for me (I think in old fashioned terms he is a bit of a bad egg) its what we do about it

 

I'm glad he has gone along with Doyle, only interested in money and themselves, Bradford to them both are just an employer who pays well, they both have the mind set they are too good for Bradford City and we are lucky to have them!

This is completely the opposite to what McCall as a player under Trevor Cherry and more recently Parkinson promoted in a team / squad environment.

Loyalty and pride mean feck all to these type of players. Would have loved for big Bobby Campbell to give them both a wake up call in training.

I'm quietly optomistic Stuart will bring someone in who is the correct "fit" for the team.

You need forwards that are selfish, that think about themselves as it drives them on to score more. Don't be fooled. The best forwards in the world don't fit in to a team. Messi, Ronaldo, Salah, Mane all think about them.Ask @Interested Bystander about Di Cano.

Doyle wouldn't have scored 20+ goals last season fitting in to a team.

Billy Clarke will fit in to a team but he's shite.. this oh I only want players that want to be here is utter nonsense! You want players that want to win! That have desire and drive to do better!

I'm from the Stuart McCall / Hendrie time, when I first started watching city.... old school, dress it up how you like mate but desire to play for city on a fair wage is what Stuart is after now... we don't have premiership wages or backing. Look at some of the refreshing comments from our new players and re joining us.

There are plenty more two word phrases we could have directed towards Vaughan that would NOT have strengthened a rival, but I guess the pennies come before actually running the club in a ruthless and effective manner.

 

Fordy come on, you can't say Vaughans attitude since he came to us has been good. Spent half the season elsewhere after half a season into a three year deal then doesn't want to come back. We don't need or want players like that at the club.

Roughly in October when we were all bored with Bowyer and he was playing negative football, it was Vaughan that demanded change which lead to them to falling out.

Yes, the club backs the manager thats fine but when the club seems to want rid for the manager to get rid of our best forward was stupid.

You can't blame Vaughan for wanting out.

We've to be careful the board are not using he is a bad apple to make excuses! Bradford City wanted him off the wage bill and that's that.

My concern about the club is what else is it lying about??

 

Bowyer ls tactics were terrible but a player does not undermine the manager, its up to the hierarchy at the club to deal with that. As I've said Vaughan going is best for all concerned as he clearly did not want to be here. I would back McCall over Vaughan any day of the week.

 

That's all well and good but it's pointless if the player is inadequate or inferior to the one he replaces.

 

If minor achievers like Doyle and Vaughan are your role models then it probably says quite a lot about you Fordy - journeymen, little loyalty, never quite made it big, self delusions of grandeur etc etc

I think you're getting confused with David Baldwin. Mason is at that Yorkshire tourist company.
