Harsh RT. Not an external appointment but shouldn't we be promoting people from within when they do a good job? I think he's done a great job so far, the work he's done with the kits should be commended and the sales are obviously backing that trend up. For such a young lad to get this position he's clearly a good option and not given it because he does what he's told... Very critical and harsh.

It's right though Hooch, I saw people saying Garth was a good appointment because of his experience at big clubs but that all started somewhere. It's funny that when we have someone is doing well people make a deal out of it and see it as an easy option rather than seeing it as rewarding success.

Let's not forget peoples buzzword, it's AMBITION.

 

What are you talking about Fordy? He's just delivered a marketing campaign that's seen record breaking sales of kits. Where's your ambition in wanting to retain successful members of staff?

 

I'll like to see figures outlined rather than statements but fine I will take the clubs word on it.

Leyton Orient and Oldham both claimed to have sold more kits this season.

I would thought it's more down to people haven't spent less over the last 3 months and having more disposable income than City's marketing campaign. They wasn't one.

 

He is a statement with no figures.

However, fans believe things the club tells them

Don't hold your breath just like 20/21 season ticket sales you will never see them

If a kit is crap people don't buy it, spare money or not.

 

They do.

Spare money, not much to do out. Kids not going out..Keep them happy buy a football top.

Most clubs will be reporting good sales in the new kits.

 

Do not forget Collins had ambition and look where that got city. By the way if the guy is up to it - good luck to him - if he is successful the club will be. As he gets more strings to his bow - does well - who knows he could be our next CEO.
