@How I have it on good authority that your hunch of being forewarned about something to be announced that will send shock waves of excitement through the fanbase is correct.

@Fordy117 is to be revealed as director of business development, recruitment, sponsorship, communications, hospitality, ticket sales, pitch management, stadium manager, safety manager and will be pictured with one of those really big cheques showing how much the club has paid for his in demand services.

Clubs that are successful usually have one thing in common, An ambitious CE and owner, The ones with the skill to recognise managerial talent and then go after them, While ever we have Rhodes at the club we will be a lower league club lurching from poor manager to poor manager, He seems to be unable to see talent often taking the easy choice rather than seeking the best we can get,

 

I'd say it's our owner rather than our CEO, Julian was only staying until he found his replacement unfortunately the replacement found something better, would Rupp take time out to find the ambitious CEO, would he know where to start if he asked Julian to sort out his replacement, and that unfortunately is our problem an owner who really doesn't care about his club.

 

We've 3 problems:

1) Ryan Sparks talking about Edin - Seriously, how long are we going to use one man as an excuse for failure!
2) Rhodes - Sorry I don't care if Ryan Sparks or anyone else wants to lick his behind. He is useless is pushing a club forward.
3) Rupp - Doesn't Care about the club.

All 3 should be major players for Bradford City and all 3 are bloody useless! But yeah lets carry on blaming Edin.

Bradford City have become scared of change...and that's one of the reasons why we fail..The club is deadwood..Ticking over, slowly!

 

You are seriously underestimating the deep damage done by ER to the club.

Maybe on purpose to suit your anti Club agenda, I don't know.

Ah the propaganda BS has started.. More pointless BS is yet to come. Something is afoot.

The only thing the mouth piece need to concentrate on is getting the right players we need to get of league 2. It's called a plan. Those running the club no nothing about.

 

2 years and we are still taking about Edin...Bloody hell mate. I hear employees being upset but Rupp acted like a sleeping partner and still does now.

Edin has gone and we all need to move the F on! Stop using Edin as an excuse.

Rhodes need to step the F up! Ryan step up and Rupp step up or they can all leave!

Fans need to really stop making excuses for failure and Bradford City is a failure of a club at this moment. Luck for Bradford is that things can change in football but I want to see plans for the future now. It's time to kick on and move on!

 

I take this more as an article created by Sparks to defend his job, rather than gee up the fans. Agree with @Fordy117 that the Edin excuse has been rolled out for far too long now. If Rupp had any balls, he'd be stopping his main PR guy from even mentioning his name again. It does, unfortunately, all point to the fact that Sparks doesn't have any positives in the offing, instead he's setting the club up in ways of excuses for failure. CV19 has probably been a God send for those who run the club

Your flippant analysis of the deep rooted problems at the club caused by ER is mildly annoying.

 

He was there on deadline day in Jan..More than likely signing Guthrie.

 

Not as a annoying as fans using it as an excuse.

Rupp wasn't interested and no one stepped up. So, it was what it was..Move on!

 

Amazing isn’t we get Fordy and others always banging on about communication or the lack of it. So it’s a case of dammed

Which fans are using it as an excuse? You are slating the clubs hierarchy. Are you sure you understand your own argument?

A part from cheap season tickets which I am not fussed about I don't see any other direction on and off the pitch. I see a club in the lowest league and finish just in the top half of an extremely weak league who hired one of the most boring managers in Gary Bowyer because it dosn't have a plan.

I see a club that owns no assets and has only one player in Wood that could go on to bigger things currently.

Now we all love the club but I suppose it's about standards, aims and desire which mine are clearly higher than yours when it comes to the club and yes the truth hurts but I can handle it. Seems some on here need to learn to be able to handle the truth and no accept failure.

Please tell me what is Bradford City's identity on and off the pitch? It doesn't have one and the clubs that move forward do!
