    I can understand that people might read the 'Whining bitch' part and jump to the wrong conclusions and I accept that maybe I could have worded it better but the problem is I clarified myself and Storck just keeps doubling down in his attack on me. As I said my comment was just relating to a single comment which does come across a little as whining and wanting to feel like he has got revenge not his general comments on the situation.

    On saturday V Donny a chorus of "Gypo" went up from the upper Kop I think aimed at their striker who Paudie had in his back pocket.
    Can't see any outrage in the media about this at all. Clearly a racist chant.

    I like Raheem Sterling's statement yesterday that he would be against walking off the pitch if he heard racist chants. He states that the racists would then have won. Like I posted earlier in this thread, go out and perform well and score and ram it down their throats that way

    It all stinks of desperation to find a reason to ridicule
    someone.Basically people with different coloured skin
    have roots from a different climate in the world.They insult
    someone for the colour of their skin and then go on

    How it's perceived depends on the context. You could, harmlessly, tell your grandkids to pop into the paki shop for a bottle of milk without having any malicious intent at all. The use of the word in this context may not necessarily be racially motivated.

    This is the part you're not getting though. The term is also, very commonly, used in the most deroragtory way possible, designed to abuse people on the basis of their race. That, in addition to the race fuelled historical violence the word derives from is why p**i is widely accepted as a racial slur. It's baffling how you can't comprehend this.

    It’s interesting that even Facebook are admitting that they need to do more and are publishers as opposed to a platform. They are very reluctant to police it but when you are making billions then it’s not about staff

    in my opinion it's not really a 'lol' subject but i'm sick and tired of people trying to reduce what it is or that current players are 'whinging', that the young are just outraged by everything, that in the 70's joe cooke and ces podd wouldn't have acted like this or that danny rose and others should just 'get a grip'.

    there was a chap on talksport the other day saying danny rose should just hire two security people to walk the streets with him. why should he have to? why can't someone, no matter of race, creed, colour or religion just walk the streets or do their job without having to worry about being abused by someone.
