My god.. i remember when our fans were a credit to the club.. I’ve heard some racist language at VP from so called supporters towards some of our own.. terrible, need to get rid of these scum bags asap!

Surely the Efl /fa can't charge the club because some person on social media has wrote a racist message.
Anyone could make a username up with a football connection to a club

Steve, the complaint I dealt with was made by a Bury player who after 11 minutes of the game at VP told the Ref he had been racially abused. The Ref put it in his report and the FA took it from there. My response which lead to no further action by the FA, pointed out various errors, etc. and the matter was dropped . The complaint was not a random post it was a factual complaint at the time of the alleged incident.

 

May I ask, did the club make a statement around the assumption that racism is non acceptable further to the Bury game?

 

Social media user in attention seeking post shocker. A bloke sends a black player who scores the winner against his team a tweet full of banana emojis. This happens a hell of a lot on twitter/facebook etc, i remember a 'fan' sending Billy Sharp a tweet about his dead child, there was one the other week to Jack Grealish about his dead brother. You can punish it but you won't ever stop it, there are too many attention seeking tw@ts out there. The mail have given this muppet the attention he craved, better off ignoring the ignorant b@stards.

Absolute disgrace and incredibly disappointing to hear from someone associated with our club. Unfortunately it’s not the first time this season I wanted behaviour has occurred. I was referencing after the Oxford game about needless actions from certain supporters and here we have again, something im sure 99.9% of us don’t want to be associated with.

Hopefully this moron never steps foot into another City game (or any other for that matter) ever again.

The alleged racist poster’s name and details are all over Twitter and easy to find on Facebook, I expect the club hopefully via @wetherbywhaler to announce tomorrow that they are investigating and if identified will face a life ban and then the club actually does investigate.

I’m restraining from posting his name and address at the moment but believe at age 49 he needs to answer for his actions. By the way he is a city supporter and it does us no favours to pretend otherwise.

Does that include a poster on here who continually abused Stefan Rupp until they were bollocked by @wetherbywhaler.

 

I don't run on to the pitch, fight with fellow City fans or any fans for that matter and certainly won't make any racist remarks and anyone who does this needs to be banned from the club or the ground.

I'll voice my concerns about the club I love for sure.
