I still don't understand the whole Robinson scenario.... There is a player who played League 1 last season and had quite a good season and scored against us who is facing heavy charges if found guilty but he is playing week in week out?

 

Violent disorder and actual body harm, in other words he's under trial for stabbing soneone.

 

Is he tall? Can we sign him?

That said, I wonder what £1.8m would get you now? Some 11 years on?

Or what would £2.1m get you 6 years on?

After considering inflation ( 30% in the 10 years from 08 to 18, 11.6% in the last 6 years), increasing agent rights and the general increase in efl wages (Morecambe spent £1.93m in 2016/17 in league 2), I feel its far too simplistic to say here's what we spent in the past and here's what our budget is now.

 

Salford's will be higher. even team's such as Cambridge had a higher budget than that last term.

It might not be what a lot of supporters want but SOME of those players will be given a second chance to turn their City career around. Question is....have City fans got the patience? even when we know the budget?

2.6 isn't as much as it sounds in 2019. it's still decent, 'competitive' as the club said it certainly is,. itll be top 6, but i bet it isn't the biggest.

if it is 'by far' the biggest then why. might aswell drop it to 2million, save some money and still be among the top spending clubs.

 

Isn’t this a club decision due to the case against Robinson? We’ve chosen to suspend him haven’t we?

 

I’d imagine more to do with safeguarding due to training at a school.

 

If thats the case what will the club do if/when the police drop any charges, the joint school facilities are the ones both the school and Bradford City will also use in the future ?.

 

I’d imagine it’d no longer be an issue.
