20 thousand + for the Liverpool game will be a fantastic effort all round from City, Liverpool, and fans of both clubs.
Although a friendly it will be a good test for the players who have never played infront of that kind of attendance, because they may be called upon to deliver infront of that kind of attendance if our club do as well as were all hoping this coming season.
So much positivity light years away from last season at the same stage.

It doesn't matter one little bit @Plastic Bantam@Plastic Bantam, the whole ground could be full of Bradford based Liverpool supporters for all i care, the whole point of this match is to raise funds for Stephen Darby.
Honestly if it get your back up so much just don't go, i just cannot see what your problem is.

Can’t knock the effort for this one. Didn’t think it would sell out full but fair play.

I couldn’t care less who the people support who have got tickets. Season ticket holders had ample time to get their tickets and who knows they may become Bradford fans after this game? We need all the support we can get.

The most important thing is we’ve raised as much as possible for Darby and that’s all that matters. I couldn’t care less who wears what I’m the home end.

TAA, Brewster, Wilson,Woodburn all under 23

Let's add the fact that Liverpool won the youth team won the youth cup.

Oh and Klop will be there managing.

So if you want to see some of the best talent in the world then why would you be disappointed either way!

    Think about what you're saying.

Grow up. Its for a great cause and does it really matter what people are wearing? Its a sell out... How many of those Bradford "fans" attending have actually been to a game before this? Plastic fans on both sides here.

FIFTY EIGHT seats left in the entire ground.

Really is the last chance for those who want to attend.

There are no more tickets available in the ground once these few sell.

Over 24,000 sold at this stage.

How can such a positive event turn into so much controversy

People need to seriously stop and think before posting on this thread and consider whether they actually stand for what they’re typing

If they do then.......... WTAF !!!

It doesn’t matter. Their money is as good as yours or anyone else’s. Whether they knew it or not, they’re still contributing to the charity.

What part of this do you need help understanding?

Loved how you tried to stretch out your argument with Gomez (called up for England), big money signing and Brazilian international Fabinho, Milner and Matip COULD be first reamers!! :joy::joy:

And then you entirely omitted Clyne, Chamberlain and Lallana! :joy:

Origi, signed a new contract yesterday, oh yer, he doesn't fit into your argument so we'll just forget his name is there. :joy:

Surely our individual opinions don’t matter in this instance as it is a friendly and for a great cause. This is the time to silence your inner demons for the common good and show kindness to fellow football fans who are there to support Stephen. We can get back to the competitive football when we meet Cambridge.

I’ve agreed wholeheartedly with all your recent posts on this tedious debate, however I would just like to point out that whilst it’s a friendly for charity I do have expectations that we aim to be competitive and compete with Liverpool and give them a game. Whilst the overriding aim is to raise money l Also want to see some positive play from this new team to take into next season.

Nothing wrong with a ‘competitive’ friendly for a great cause

Wouldn't it be fantastic if he came on for the final couple of minutes, just imagine the reception he would get.

I’m talking about folk irritated about which fans clap which goal, or that there are Liverpool fans helping to fill a ground, thus raising as much money as possible for a great cause.

As for the result, it means bugger all. The other ‘friendlies’ are more important in that respect, football is surely almost secondary today?
