Liverpool friendly (Now with Poll)

Not sure but it has been previously said that it needs to be nigh on full to pay for itself so at reduced prices it would have to be full. Think that is why they prefer giving it to away fans as there is less need for extra police/Stewarding

 

Needs to be full to pay for itself? How does that work? Its a friendly football game, what extra police do we need in the away end, just needs some minimum wage stewards to stand there and try to look intelligent.

 

Mate, my holiday currently consists of GnT and kids entertainment - time aplenty.

 

That is why I said depending on police/steward costs

 

Without counting all the dots, it appears there’s little over 500 tickets left for the game unless they open TL Dallas

 

And less than that still available in Liverpool end.

Most of Block F are available and less than 200 in rest of the stand

 

20 thousand + for the Liverpool game will be a fantastic effort all round from City, Liverpool, and fans of both clubs.
Although a friendly it will be a good test for the players who have never played infront of that kind of attendance, because they may be called upon to deliver infront of that kind of attendance if our club do as well as were all hoping this coming season.
So much positivity light years away from last season at the same stage.

 

Hopefully has a knock effect with a few people wanting to attend games early next season

I had a look at the Liverpool ticket site

 

We sold 10k through ST's and then 5k on general sale.

Liverpool will sell their allocation, which is around 4.5k isn't it?

Cheers just had a look and block B has opened so it look like they are selling from the middle block outwards.

Main Stand: 4 seats left
NW Corner: 69 seats left
Kop: 217 seats left
Bantams Bar: 17 seats left

Just over 18,000 tickets sold.

Surely A block main stand and TL Dallas need to be opened up about now?
Also are J and K block in main stand sold? Don't think they were over online and I know they sometimes hold those back for some reason

 

Talks ongoing regarding TL Dallas. I doubt A block will be opened - we don’t have a valid safety certificate.

Re: J and K block; they’re used for the suites within the Main Stand - they sold out within days of tickets prices being announced (circa 700 seats).
