    Hopefully, he’s done well before at Blackburn and Blackpool both were struggling teams and he got them going .

    PHIL Parkinson has shot down the growing speculation that he is being lined up for a sensational return to Valley Parade.

    Parkinson has been installed as the favourites with bookies to fill the vacancy left by David Hopkin's sudden resignation.

    His position at Bolton is believed to be up in the air with the Championship strugglers in the middle of a potential takeover.

    But Parkinson has poured cold water on the suggestion that he could be coming back to City three years after leaving.

    He said: "There’s no truth in that.

    "Bradford were surprised themselves that the manager left at the weekend. I have got a big job to do here and I am concentrating on that."
