Every successful manager needs luck, to make it sound like Parkinsons success was just down to this is wrong. I wouldn’t be averse to bringing him back but not at the expense of any other potential candidate.
But you need to let this Parky obsession go, his record will stand up against any Bradford manager no matter what you think. The only thing you need to analyse is where he was when he took over and where we were when he left.
It wasn’t great football at times but then again we didn’t have the players or money to sign those type of players to play that style of football. He signed players that served a purpose, something we sadly lack with this squad of individuals.

 

It would be interesting to see how he would set up our current squad, with not a target man in sight, lol

Did you not get to the two Wembley appearances, or welcome the promotion bus back at City Hall with that great squad and even greater manager.
Let's not forget the great games and wins against Chelsea, Wigan, Arsenal, Sunderland, Aston Villa at home and that fantasic night at Villa Park, great memories we Bradford City fans carry all our lives and when the times are bad like at the monent we can reminisce those great times.

 

It's maybe a reflection of our desperation that we look to bringing back someone in the hope of replicating past success.It's the same with players who were good and we think we can make them "good" again.

Seems to me there will always be applicants for a professional football club managers job.Supply and demand.The challenge is greatest where we are now, but if someone can resurrect us,then the glory would be worth the risk.
