And when is that going to happen? Most of the names banded about on here have another year on their contracts. When Peter Taylor was here we had Tommy Doherty who made it clear he would happily sit in the stand for his last year when he thought we couldn't pay him off, we did through a Director loaning the money. This is different in that there are too many on long contracts at good money. We are where we are.

    Thanks all.

Did a piece a few months ago, never done anything like it before. Thought I'd put something together yesterday after discussions on here. Didn't expect it to be published but Jason very kindly did.

Did you not get to the two Wembley appearances, or welcome the promotion bus back at City Hall with that great squad and even greater manager.
Let's not forget the great games and wins against Chelsea, Wigan, Arsenal, Sunderland, Aston Villa at home and that fantasic night at Villa Park, great memories we Bradford City fans carry all our lives and when the times are bad like at the monent we can reminisce those great times.

So we'll get to see if Fordys wish really gives us that much of a boost. I'm confident that this will actually make it worse and that's a biggest statement after the shower at the weekend.

    See you soon League 2.

When Hopkin said he would make changes for the pompey game i didn’t this would be one of them lol. Talk about deserting a sinking ship.

This club is in utter freefall.

Many knew that Rachic had up our club in a serious way with him running it the way he did, but when someone like @wetherbywhaler@wetherbywhaler and @EricMcManus@EricMcManus say this situation could take many years to put right it says how far weve dropped as a club.

Ultimately I think this was the right decision and fair play to Hopkin for walking. His football was not suited to the players he inherited or those who he signed hence the dreadful results.

We've got two options now - appoint someone temporary to try and keep us up or appoint the best man to get us out of league 2. Personally I'd go for the latter, give him the rest of the season to assess the squad, get used to the club and then he can start to rebuild.

Everyone available, full clean sheet for all. New manager, new ideas, play football, play to our strengths.

Would we actually pay money to bring a manager in? We already have at least a £2M deficit this season. Stefan needs to come out and let us know if he's in it for the long haul or not.

Good god can the guy not do anything right in your eyes. In a lot of your gibberings yesterday you called on him to do the decent thing and resign. Done it this morning and now he's a bottler. You've got your wish now just move on. It takes a special kind of fool to kick someone when they've already gone.

If you think Hopkin is clueless wait until you see Drury in action. Sit near the dugout and he is useless.

The dodgy Bosnian builder has left is with a house built on sand. No manager will turn this around, it needs stripping back to the foundations and starting again.

I think the biggest worry is the fact that we’re riddled with £2m of losses, on the verge of dropping into the basement division and owned by a bloke with absolutely 0 interest in the club, or Football. Some mess.

Well Drury needs to f@ck off out of there that's for sure.

Can't take them odds seriously at the moment.

Quite shocked by the timing of this. Very poor result at the weekend and maybe it’s clear the players are not playing for him. Surprised he resigned however.

Hopkin seemed to go backwards in his tactics in these last few weeks. Back to the direct football and this persistence with blundering through the middle wouldn’t cut it in this league. Teams are better than that. I hoped he would turn it around and felt we weren’t in the worst form but the defeat to Walsall killed it for me.

It’s a clean slate for everyone now. The ousted players who we are paying good money to might aswell get them back in the side now push for places

No matter what anyone says we have a squad who can get results in this league. It is very lopsided but we have some quality and should be doing better in my eyes.

Who do we turn to now? Steve Evans as much as I hate him he would know how to instil that siege mentality we need to get us out of this mess. The fans who won’t attend would soon come back if we won a couple of games.

I’d like a plan with an appointment not just to survive this season but looking at next season. We cannot continue this short termism. It’s ok saying Chelsea etc do it but we don’t have the finances to continue to rip apart a squad and hope to build something.

My top 3 would be Hurst, Cowley or Bowyer. No particular order but all would suit us. However Cowley won’t come so that leaves two

Don’t look at the betting markets yet. They mean nothing. A tenner on someone can move the market

You reckon we beat Chelsea 4-2 away with aimless hoofball?
