Good post @Yorkie, my complaint is in Scannell we have one of the best (if not the best) wide man in league two and we bench him so we can accommodate all three strikers, poor team selection for me, by all means play that system if you have a guy who can play the role behind Donaldson & Vaughan if not make sure you can accommodate Scannell.

 

Where have I said we can’t judge other teams? I just don’t know how someone can be so confident to make the bold claims you have about their struggles. I don’t really care what a couple of their fans thought. Go around and ask our fans and you’d get all different answers, same at any club so it’s no indication in the slightest.

Tell you what burns charity bet. They end bottom four I pay £100 to the burns unit, they end above 15th you pay £50? Even giving you the better deal considering how confident you are they’ll struggle.

Regarding the happy clapping I’ve already said it’s nonsense as he picked out a few positives as he can do I remember Port Vale first game of 16/17 season, that season didn’t go to bad said my peace can’t be bothered to go in circles any more.

And it simply was quite poor. He said he needs 2 Windows to fix it, fine give him 2 Windows but anything other than promotion is failure and with failure he writes his own future.

I like bowyer and have been really happy with pretty much everything he's done since he came in. But if he plays with Doyle, Donaldson and Vaughan together from the start again I'm not sure how long my patience will last. But unlike Hopkin and Collins, he's not stupid and I don't think he'll persist with something that won't work.

 

We did not look better with the change. We didn’t create anything of note.

Who did you suggest he brought on instead of Longridge later on in the game?

The squad is not ready yet and a couple of injuries have robbed us of any options on the bench. Nothing to do with colville etc getting contracts.

 

I’d have brought Wood on for Henley the moment they went down to 10men and Scannell for Doyle. It was clear that 4-3-3 with Doyle wasn’t working, so when they took off a striker, I’d have gone 3-5-2 and gone for their jugular with 30mins to go.

I think he’s the biggest fake, since..........Edin Rahic. He’s a journalists dream, talks a wonderful game and boy he loves our club! In reality, he’s a poor manager. But, he got Blackpool promoted how can we forget.

Listen!!! Poor managers are given time to turn things around. I’m just not one of the supporters, gullible enough to think he is the messiah based on his interviews and general rhetoric. We need wins.

 

Just one final point from me. Bowyer has now stated on at least 2 occasions that he has signed 10 players. Wrong. He’s actually signed 12 (possibly 13);

Poor managers shouldn’t be managing teams with promotion ambitions, at least stand by your opinion. You’ve made a thread stating he’s the biggest fake since Rahic, why would you want him at the club if you think that. My god it’s silly season on here tonight.
