Today, I’m not impressed with his choices

 

He was brought in after the January transfer window. Couldn’t put his stamp on team. Used the period to assess what was needed this summer.

He’s now had time to make his stamp but we’ve had only 90 mins of football, with a new team getting to know each other after notable summer changes.

Blackpool went up with a solid defence - they weren’t free scoring - and he’s set us up, primarily, to be tough to break down too. Clean sheet today. ROD was barely troubled in goal.

MID and ATT need tinkering on today’s show......that’s perfectly normal for a team in transition like us though?

But Jermaine Anderson is absolutely dog shit and I’ll struggle to back anyone who wants to keep playing him

Hi all just popped in to see if the meltdown had started yet?

 

Take out Donaldson and Vaughan and this team could be average league 2 unless we bolster that weak midfield.

 

People have been well and truly sold by Bowyers media rhetoric. He may love the club and it’s history etc but the club needs results.

 

Defence looks strong, the forward line should be strong as long as they are given opportunities, midfield looks woefully weak. No width and no physical presence.

Players like Mccartan, Paudie and Akpan on paper will make us stronger, but they’re not left footed midfielders and we have no out and out left sided midfield / attacker.

Gibson did ok today, but I’ve still yet to see much out of him to suggest he’ll be good enough. If we’re relying on Devine, Coalville and Anderson as the engine room we’ll have a problem. We are 2-3 short, left wing and midfield must be the priority

 

Problem is we've handed out contracts to devine, Anderson and Colville so we're stacked with shite in midfield. I can't see us signing a midfielder unless akpan moves on.
