Flyover Cancellation

I don't believe the flyover would have had much in the way of financial implications at all.
The fact the club took such a dramaticview of something that would illustrate the fans view of the current situation . Reminds me of Rahic's micro-managing, where he actually wanted to vet City Gent and WOTP contributions. This man is still around!
The club should have been told to do one and the fly-over go ahead. Just to hammer home to the parasites the general feeling.

However you were in a difficult situation Jon and fully empathise with you.

 

To me it’s had the desired effect without happening and people get their money back..

Rupp is obviously well aware of what was going to happen and if has been said he had potential investors over for the match you don’t want anything ruining any potential deal!

However the fact he was very much aware of it and asked people to reach out on his behalf shows you he was aware and his actions as of late probably show it had the desired effect

 

As long as he wears his underpants on the outside of his lycra, I'm happy.

 

Tough decision but the right one in my opinion.

What I find interesting though, some fans who say they don’t want to risk investment in the club, are the same fans who were actively criticising fellow supporters for attending games, buying merchandise from the club shop and the 4000 season ticket holders who didn’t renew, in essence depriving the club of investment.

 

If a potential investor is scared by a flyover against someone killing the club, I can't see them sticking around if they do invest.

If they can't understand why we're against rahic then they're definitely not what we need at the club. I'll wait and see and hope to be proven wrong but it seems bollocks to me right now

 

I have reflected on what to do with the money. Yesterday was Stephen Darby day, it was the day the flyover was happening. He is starting a new foundation, my view is that all the money goes to his foundation when it is operational. He is one of our own and exceplifies what a true Bradford City footballer looks like. I was emotional yesterday watching him take his much deserved bow. Just my view of course, but it would say to R&R this is the kind of player you should have been pursuing to continue the heritage of our wonderful club.

 

If this is true then the club owe us information immediately otherwise it just looks like another totalitarian mission to crush dissenters. The word on social media is that there is an announcement tomorrow about Rahic leaving, should that fail to happen we should get it going again. There's been enough cowards on and off the pitch revolving around Bradford City without us adding to it

 

Whilst respecting your opinion, the 56 were also very much "56 of our own", and I would prefer my £10 to go the burns unit.

 

I get the feeling had it just had Rahic on it all would have been ok

"Any new investor" would surely see the passion in the fans and know he has a good solid fan base to build on
More of an attraction than frighten off a half hearted investor
Would they be investing in Edins dream or will they create a new one of their own hope very much it's the latter but if the flyover telling them our distrust of Edin puts them off I fear it's the former
To me something is very fishy with this

It's not over til it's over. Rahic is still at the club and until he's gone we need to carry on the work to get rid.

Any chance of you going behind the scenes? No idea who Paula is? Julian always has my support, but Rahic does not. Rupp has yet to prove he is actually taking part in this club.

Or alternatively, it could frighten them off. Investment is always a risk and if a potential new investor saw that their name could end up being flown across West Yorkshire (and broadcast to a much larger audience via the media), telling them to do one if things don't go well, it very well might put them off.

 

As with our current leaders investors are business men and hopefully fans of the club not "snowflakes" They will know if they get things right there are good rewards if they get things wrong then flack will fly same with any business

 

Keep the money until after the January transfer and if things continue to put the club in danger then use the flyover then, If however things have improved then donate the money equally to the two causes mentioned, The threat of the flyover still hanging over certain peoples head will have a good effect keeping the pressure on
