What football club or business in the world operates in complete 100% transparency. Fact is some people will always know more than others. It makes sense for the person who asked them for help to help out as they’ve clearly got a lot more on their plate atm.. if you feel that strongly about it then I suggest emailing the club direct and seeing what sort of response you get.. I imagine it will be along the lines of “sorry can’t divulge p&c information “

Yes I can see your point but it has been Edin who has dealt with Bingley Bantams in the past, would it be common knowledge to other people such as Julian or Stefan, or have they asked Edin.
I can imagine the conversation Edin we have someone interested in buying you out, but we hear the ***** on Bantam Talk are having a fly bye with a banner saying they want me and you out, this wont go down well with the new investor can you give us a name of anyone who can possibly get it called off .

 

From what he’s said.. The club were well aware of the fly by when it was originally pencilled in and weren’t bothered.. now clearly something in the 3 weeks since then has changed

 

I imagine you are right with the response anyone would get from an e mail
But in all my 50 years as a fan I have never felt so isolated as a fan of the club
Maybe you would understand better if you thought that there was no press embargo when the club needed help in the form of fundraising to keep the club alive or crowdfunding for new scoreboard/ changing rooms lots on here have participated in that I know under different stewardship but still under the banner of Bradford City without ALL the fans BCFC would not be in existence some should remember that

The thing is though stuff like this HAS always happened especially in football it’s only because of the internet and social media people are now able to find out on mass... look at when Richmond launched the 25 year ST... if that was now people would find out straight away that they were launched cause we desperately needed to get money in the bank..

 

If you were that bothered about confidentiality you would have said nothing. But instead you have to let everybody know you think you’re ITK and sufficiently trusted to meet Edin’s mates. You’re appearing to be a patsy, or like a sixteen year old lad shouting about a fumble with his bird on the back row of the cinema when the proper thing to have done is stay quiet. Quite how the Bingley Bantams can have any credibility after this is beyond me.

 

True but also consider how many season ticket holders we lost for this season and how many we stand to lose for next season (quite worrying I would have thought) A bit of "good news" released to all by the club may just halt the slide in that respect

If he’s *that* bothered about confidentiality Jon he should have said absolutely nothing. That’s the correct way to deal with confidential issues, neither confirm or deny, say nothing.
