Flyover Cancellation

If Rahic is still here for our next home game, continue with the flyover but change the message to something more appropriate. Something along the lines of saving our club or wanting change. That way the flyover goes ahead, a message is sent to the owners and there's no chance of it putting off any potential investors.

Don't let the club silence you after all the shît we've had to endure.

Why is tha?t my sole concern is making the best environment for escaping relegation. Steps are being taken to improve things and if promises are kept we should support that. Don't particularly think flyover will.be effective but if it has to make it then

I don’t believe for one minute that @City-since-67 has tried to con anyone, he would believe what he has been told. He also reassured me that Rahic had nothing to do with the postponement and I do believe that, and he also said that if he was involved in anyway they wouldn’t have anything to do with it. I don’t like the way we have been treated, but it is probably symptomatic of how the club is being run at the moment. For me this was never about money, it was all about how we were feeling as fans and they way we have been distanced from the club. Julian is now trying to reverse the decline and from what I can see is doing a great job. Master stroke getting ppl in the ground for a £1, I know it has been done before but he must have been difficult persuading Rahic and Rupp to go along with it. I hope they do it again or similar.

As I have said, no point in keep regurgitating this, we will have to see if this all plays out and Rahic is no longer at the club. When that happens, we will have to see how Rupp sees this going forward before deciding whether we think the club is in safe hands or not. There is no actual rush now.

 

Your question is daft. Having a successful team in the EFL is hard work, you need very good coaches, players, administrators, and leadership and if you take the piss you will get found out as we have seen time and again.

If “The Model” survives this season we’re going in one direction, so yeah, staying up is important but genuinely doesn’t matter. We’ll end up where the owners plan and management deserves to end up. Fans are pretty passive generally, what you or I do in isolation makes little difference.

It’s all a negotiation which is why the fly over and general collective pressure is relevant and your attempt to start a Mexican wave isn’t.

 

I think you are wrong I think yesterday showed what positive energy can do the extended crowd were up for it and it passed on to the players distracting from that with idiotic gestures only disrupts that.We have two home matches before Christmas where I hope we can create a similar atmosphere and hopefully two wins which I think will at least keep us in touch whatever we do away.

Appointing Michael Collins is idiotic, signing players at random is idiotic. Positive energy is great, belief gets you a long way but blind faith over competency eventually gets found out.

You dismissed the idea of doing anything other than writing emails or trying to engage in conversation. You probably had a lovely tour of the changing rooms/meeting with that little PR fella but the organisation of a fly over has lead the club to engage. I may be a bit behind because I've not seen every post...but my take on this is..JR has come in (I don't think on a consultancy basis) and intends to buy Rahic out. Wants to get the fans back together again so thinks the flyover will be against that spirit. So asks BB to speak to JB to cancel. Maybe JR said won't invest if flyover continues? Just my thoughts but from WOAP and @City since67 I see JR having huge influence!

 

But we're in that position BECAUSE of him...it's not like he bought the club yesterday....he's done a spectacular job of taking us from near Championship to near League 2 in a year...can you not see that? Facts are facts....

 

They mentioned on the last show that Julian Rhodes should be man of the match for the last 2 games.....they obviously follow social media...

 

Rupp said he would be at games in November.....that'll be Tuesday then....again words and deeds...
