Amazing how so many people believe what Edin and Rupp say.

 

If R&R weren't there on Saturday our two joint chairman
Who was entertaining our prospective new investors
JR possibly (a consultant) or was it the tea lady
Surely anyone thinking seriously of investing would want to meet his new co owners on site
To me none of this stacks up
Yet again the phrase Hoodwinked springs to mind

 

Think it's time to accept JR is more than just a consultant! it's clear to see he's basically running the club on a day to day basis for Rupp

But surely it would be disrespectful to any new investor(s) for our chairmen not to show up

Wrong Rupp and Rahic weren’t bothered if the flyover went ahead or not. It was the people who are trying to save the club from relegation. As for meeting Edin he is a thoroughly nice bloke to speak to as others who have met him will testify.
As for why we are where we are now I agree with you it’s down to decisions made in the summer.
And yes it is talking that is bringing about change not vanity projects like what you support

 

Guess it depends who it is.. it may be JR himself. And yes whilst he owns 20% he’s also an employee taking a wage.. he will be doing as he’s told and staying away effectively on gardening leave

If he is taking wages from the club then so if Rupp.

 

You'll get stick for that comment, I posted similar when he rejoined the club and was told it was a joint statement from Edin & Stefan and he would be advising Edin, I'm with you Julian is the main man at Valley Parade and I believe answers directly to Stefan.

 

That's not true though as Edin owes 20% and until that's changes he will has a say and control or what happens at Bradford City.

 

Face saving exercise Bronco.. you know it, I know it.. time for everyone else to realise it..

Edin might own 20% of the business for now.. However the majority shareholder will call the shots.. He has no loyalty to Edin they're business associates, nothing more.

 

The majority shareholder and money man has final say over everything and can & will overrule anything Edin has to say.

Except Edin is saying nothing and inputting nothing at the moment. That's clear to see just from the 3 signings we've made.

 

I dont believe that's the case as @Plastic Bantam says above a face saving exercise, do you really believe if Julian says this is the way things should be done Edin would disregard his advice, it would be a pointless exercise of bringing Julian in, sorry mate 20% or not Julian is pulling the strings at Valley Parade IMO, we'll have to disagree on this one and see how the near future pans out.

 

You are certainly right in thinking JR is calling the shots.

 

Is JR paying the money back ?

 

Rupp has more power has he owns more of the club but Edin has a say still.

My thoughts are that maybe all this is a plain.

Edin stays in the background. Rhodes looks like the front man but fact is Rupp owns 80% and Edin owns 20% and they still own both of the club.

Until Edin isn't a shareholder then nothing changes.

TBH - as much as I dislike Edin for what he's done to the club - if he truly takes a back seat, doesn't get involved or interfere, and doesn't ever attempt to get involved again, and the club begins to recover under JR then I aren't too fussed.

although, that said, I don't think anyone will ever believe he's not involved unless there's an official announcement that he has left the club and doesn't own any percentage anymore.

we'll see what happens. but if he isn't at the club day to day, and as such isn't involved in how the club is run, then I don't have much issue with that.
