    It was based on an appeal about the implications the flyover would have.

    I doubt someone would just throw around near enough a thousand pounds willy nilly, so it all rings true to me.

    How has he been blackmailed!??? Do they have uncompromising photos of him or have they threatened to expose something about him...

    No they simply requested it not be done and will refund it if it doesn’t so no one is out of pocket.. that is anything but blackmail!!!

    Not that simple.

    I know someone didn't want it to go ahead, but what I'm saying is, I doubt anyone who contributed would have wanted it to go ahead if it was actively damaging the club financially. That doesn't get us anywhere.

    The flyover was never intended to hurt the club, just hammer home a message to the owners - and the main culprit and the one responsible for the toxicity surrounding the club is out of the picture.

    How would it hurt financially? Other than Rupp taking his bat and ball home.

    They've put you in a very difficult position.

    Edin's name is still above the door though.

    Until it’s official he’s still co-owner of the club though.

    For all we know he’s just temporarily taking a back seat. (Which is obviously better but still not good enough)

    We need concrete evidence that he’s f*cked off for good.

    So you've had reliable information that Edin has left Bradford city for good?

    And I'm guessing that it was a case of if the flyover went ahead, Rupp would be an embarrassment in the business world and therefore refuse to invest anymore money?

    It depends who it is that wanted to put the money in, and I don't actually know who that is.

    There's nothing wrong with your reading of the situation, you're using the facts, but you're assuming it's Rahic and Rupp saying they won't put their money in. I'm not sure that's actually the case. I got the feeling the club were scared of losing something else, but I can't tell you what because I don't know - what I do know is nobody tried to stop us doing this last time, but this time there was a real sense of panic and urgency.
