For those whom contributed, could I ask should we ring fence this money until we have firm proof of change?
If needed , we could reorganize a flyover or relevant protest, as appropriate. If the end game is satisfactory, then charity I suggest.
Otherwise, im of the consideration that if monies are returned and a crowd funding is required in future, that the integrity and trust in such an action may be jeopardised.

That information was put out there before I posted this thread of explanation.
This thread doesn't contain a whole lot of new information, just my personal emotional experience and the reasoning behind the cancellation.
"There are things currently going on that this will damage including a possible new investor."
"This is the truth. I have given a lot of information to the organiser of this flyover. When you were all first talking about it I was completely ambivalent about it but things have changed. Make no mistake if it happens today it will harm the club. I am not a bullshitter."

To me it’s had the desired effect without happening and people get their money back..
Rupp is obviously well aware of what was going to happen and if has been said he had potential investors over for the match you don’t want anything ruining any potential deal!
However the fact he was very much aware of it and asked people to reach out on his behalf shows you he was aware and his actions as of late probably show it had the desired effectTennesseebantam, Idlebantam, bantamlad92 and 2 others like this. -
If a potential investor is scared by a flyover against someone killing the club, I can't see them sticking around if they do invest.
If they can't understand why we're against rahic then they're definitely not what we need at the club. I'll wait and see and hope to be proven wrong but it seems bollocks to me right nowFordy117, Fools Gold, bantamlad92 and 2 others like this. -
"Any new investor" would surely see the passion in the fans and know he has a good solid fan base to build on
More of an attraction than frighten off a half hearted investor
Would they be investing in Edins dream or will they create a new one of their own hope very much it's the latter but if the flyover telling them our distrust of Edin puts them off I fear it's the former

The news passed on to Jon had better turn out to be true and compelling otherwise this is simply a postponement.bantamdave41, Fools Gold, Botswana Bantam and 2 others like this. -
Is Edin still part of the club? Yes or No?
It's weak because at this moment nothing is factual and because people like you say jump Jon said how high.

I'm calling bu11sh!t on the whole thing but hope beyond hope that the end result is still Edin out but I can't make any logical sense of a need to cancel based on hurting the club as a result of an investor pulling out if the flyover went ahead.

Of course we would prefer everything to be rosy at valley Parade but I would very much hope any new investor has done his homework on why they might have been asked to invest in the club and done their own due diligence and possibly seen why fans were annoyed with the goings on at our club.
I would expect that would be the first thing any new investor would do, the fly bye may not have gone down well but as with Edin & Stefan who have invested in Bradford City to improve our club and maybe get us to the Championship and sell the club making a tidy profit I'm sure any new investor is looking at the same situation ?.Disillusioned of Bingley, JonButterfield, Sandbeds Bantam and 2 others like this. -

In the same way that you're using the internet to have this discussion and push your view of things that potential investor could ask someone to get on the same internet and research about the fans views just as a manufacturer would want to know customer's feedback on their products before investing further into it.
For me, that's where the point you're making loses credence. Since the fly over was cancelled what are you going to do to delete the hundreds of thousands of negative posts about the owners that exist on here, cows arse, twitter, Facebook, Instagram etc or dont those matter? Was it just a little plane they were scared off?CT Bantam, bantam2708, Bronco and 2 others like this. -
This is so tedious. If I was going to invest in a Football club as a complete novice, I would research that club, I would even have a a professional who knows football research it. In other words I would know, yes the majority of negativity is directed at Rahic, however you don’t have to know football to know this simple fact, that if there is two owners theother one silent or not has allowed the downward spiral to continue, so I would be asking pertinent questions and I would need to have satisfied myself I had a satisfactory explanation. I would expect them to have informed me of the protest.

It’s embarrassing for the club that they have felt the need to stop the fans expressing there feelings . You’ve completely destroyed our club so deal with the consequences . If rupp feels he can buy the fans silence more fool him . There is only so long they can get away with it . It amazes me how many people feel like rupp should escape any blame . He’s as bad as that clown edin

If it is true that Bingley Bantams were told and to keep it quiet they deserve for only members of Bingley Bantams to turn up for the next match and have an empty stadium this costing them even more revenue
Bradford City is club for ALL its supporters and if they have anything to say about any event they should address everyone and not just the chosen few
