Caught the perch and 3 small roach on prawn bait.
The others were caught on maggot. No takes on sweetcorn.
Winning weight total was 25lb all caught on pole.

I always enjoy an overnight session good laugh with the others, peace and quiet, lots of wildlife roaming around with the added advantage of a midnight curry delivery what's not to like !!! Although it did drop a bit cold and damp about 1.00am
Just had a couple, a Mirror Carp 11lb 4oz and a horrible snotty Bream about 6lb didn't weigh it (too much slime)
Are you wetting a line today ??Skyebantam and Craven Cottager like this. -

Great fun is overnight fishing, take away curry and a couple of fish to boot, can’t be bad.
Best of luck @Craven Cottager, try loose feeding into the keepnet, every dram counts!!Bantamsteve and Craven Cottager like this. -

I'm Nearly sure the first lock away from the swing Bridge is called dobsons lock. There is an overflow you can climb down and virtually trot a float tight against the side opposite the towpath and under the trees. Good fishing especially for the kids

Lardons and raw prawns are a very cheap bait alternative. A pack of prawns £2.75 at Morrison’s will last you several fishing trips and the smoked lardons (£1) will last you even longer. Caught 9 of my fish yesterday on the same lardon.ahar964 and Skyebantam like this. -
