In most cases we let them go for nothing and maybe even supplement some of the wages.

Despite the wages a lot of players will not want to stay at a club they will not play at.

Doubt that professional pride applies to most of our invertebrates.

The ability of the players to run fast is one element. Just having midfielders with pace, is one aspect.

What strikes me about the current team is the slowness of thought.

You can pick out a good pass and deliver it quickly.

The current team seem to hold the ball too long allowing the opposition to compose themselves.

There seems to be a lack of ‘understanding’ of the players around them.

There is no aerial threat offered by midfielders.

A lot of passes are delivered which are at the player or slightly behind, rather than in front so that they are able to pick the ball up at speed.

There is a lack of ‘off ball movement’.

I’m hoping some think they are league one quality and don’t want to play in league two and push for a move

It’s fairly obvious that they’re not bothered about playing - never mind the league.

They are not his players. It's Rahics fault. It's Rupps fault. It's the transfer windows fault. It's the fact we've no wide players or midfield creativity to provide service for the forwards.
Simple fact is. 12 yards out, non moving ball, one on one with the goal keeper, time to pick his spot - Doyle can't score. That's his and his fault only.
Yeah there's been gross mismanagement across the board, but the players are all equally to blame.

Man you've given up on this club and just trying to be this positive bubble but have reached such a low that you try to hang on to a slim positive thought.

So wants the point in hiring Bowyer then. Top 10 finish? He isn't going to be happy with that. We might as well get a Flynn into manage us or aim to get McCall back or something.

Bradford City Board have messed up so badly. Collins then Hopkin and now Bowyer! 3 managers at the wrong times!

Collins should never ever been hired!

Hopkin and Bowyer only should of been hired at a pre season time.

For me until the owner and City board find the identity of this club again on the pitch then we're fecked!

What are you talking about now? You go from one extreme to the next.

As I said everyone else seems to think we could go straight back down again. So what’s so bad about a top ten finish?

I never said we would finish 10th. I said we won’t finish outside of the top ten. I’d say that’s fairly positive, wouldn’t you?

We should keep bowyer. He wasn’t right to come in and change it for now but no one would have been. You say only appoint him with a preseason, well he will he that in about 3 months time.

You say give a competitive budget and hope for top 10! That's being negative but trying to spin a positive outlook.

If Bowyer is the man then top 6 finish is a must.

If not get a young manager in! Get a Flynn or someone. A manager that has a plan! Not a Bowyer who currently is FAILING!!

Or do you find losing 4-1 to Blackpool a team he knows inside our acceptable?

Nothing so far highlights Bowyer is the man for us- NOTHING!

You are wrong, I asked for both, Mobility in movement and pace in attack, We lack both, The reason we are about to be relegated is that under both managers we have done the same and expected better results,

Not saying that, But we do have options we are not using, Playing the same every week and losing every week is the alternative

Did you? I thought you specially mentioned slow not immobile.

We can't increase the pace in the team. We don't have any. That's a fact.

If we want more mobility we have to bring in untried players from the youth team or failed kids from the developments squad bullshit idea. Neither option is likely to work and it certainly won't bring in any more pace.

Bowyer has a plan and needs time to implement it. He’s failing now but it’s the 5th manager in 18 months that has failed at this club. We can’t keep chopping and changing hoping someone gets it right.

You change your mind on who we should appoint every post. We’ve had Kewell Clarke Flynn. Why are they any more qualified than bowyer? None have a promotion on their cv between 3 of them I don’t believe. Why would they be a success here?

Top 7 would be enough next season. That’s play offs. As I said we won’t finish outside top ten. Nothing to say we won’t get play offs or autos in that is there?

Slow and lack of mobility are virtually the same, Immobile as you say means no mobility at all ( Stood Still ) In my posts I have said we lack mobility (Slow Lack of movement ) and pace in attack, Every good team has pace and width which we fail to play with despite having options, For example playing Akpan in front of the back four is suicidal where you could put O'Brien there who is much quicker, reads the game well and is a good ball winner, Just one of the options we have but ignored because of the mind frame we have no choice which is the reason we are going down

Its not. You can move a lot and do it slowly or you can move rarely but at speed.

O'Brien played yesterday and we were still slow.

We're a slow team. I agree. But that's because we're a slow squad. Theres nothing the current manager can do about that apart from swap one slow player for another one or bring in some random kids.

You are dancing on the head of a pin, I said slow and lack pace and mobility and that is what I mean, You can twist words as you like but that is what I posted, As for O'Brien were you there? Yes he played, He played far forward and at times on the wing as an attacking midfielder and was the only player with some mobility, But he can be used better for the team as the defensive midfielder covering the defence with his pace and reading of the game and his ability to put in a tackle, Your attitude to change and lack of vision is precisely why we are in trouble

I'm not averse to change in the slightest. Just pointing out that whatever we have changed this season the team has been lacking in pace and ideas.

The conclusion is therefore that no matter what you do with the team it will always be slow and lacking in ideas but that's simply because the whole squad is slow and lacking in ideas.

No matter where we play O'Brien we're still going to be a slow team.

We won't finish outside the top 10 no matter who is manager though.

If Bowyer is great as you're trying to make out then it's top 6. Not top 7. Just getting into the play off positions isn't enough. To be honest it should be automatic positions really.

What is Bowyers plan? Please tell me as I don't see one and results have backed up he hasn't got one but please tell us all what it is. Did you go to the match yesterday?

It doesn't matter which permutation you use with this squad, it would still go down. This squad would struggle in league 2 never mind league 1. Don't forget the last time we were in league 2, we weren't brilliant but we played to our strengths. And we had a certain individual called Wells whose pace frightened the life out of defenders.

I just watched the EFL show, and it’s worrying to see that some teams in L2 look far quicker, slicker and more inventive than we are! Perkins for Tranmere seems to be having a field day, and I can’t see Akpan, Wright or any of our so called “Championship players” looking as effective as he did yesterday, and he’s 36!
