Currently it's a massive no from me for Bowyer based on results now and failure to get the best out of these players. Most of these players like it or not will still be here next season. We need a decent coach if I am honest like a Steve Clarke or someone. Bowyer isn't what this club needs now.

Not all managers could. We have a top 6 budget this season and we are bottom. Notts county have a big budget for league two and are bottom

What bemused me was the reaction Doyle gave afterwards a player who cared would have hung his head or started thumping the floor in anger/frustration not just nonchanantly walk away

Quite simply you are wrong, Most have played and done nothing wrong, some of youth players are ready and would play there heart out for the opportunity, We cannot keep playing players that are not good enough and are ponderous and slow, We should introduce changes to freshen up a probable relegated squad who now play like one, We need to know which of these can be used next season and now is the time to find out whether Bowyer is here or not

I don't think any of the rest of them have actual pace....maybe Patrick. Mobility and pace are two different things, you asked for pace and their isn't any.

 

We should put some kids in I agree but to say they would have been better than what we picked yesterday and the reason we lost is because we didn’t play the kids? Not having that.

Just chuck in any old useless player from the youth team because "they can't be any worse"

We will have a better chance of offloading them in the summer than we did in January. We will get rid of plenty.

 

I don't think anybody would be 'happy' with top 10 in league 2 given where we were just 2 years ago but the reality is that this club is in a mess the likes of which I've never known.
We are club with serious momentum and it's all downward. We need to firstly stabilise and make sure that we have reached our low point...at present I'm not convinced that's the case and I can see things getting worse!
As I've said nobody but nobody would be able to get a tune out of collectively the worst squad of players I have seen in my 45 years.
I honestly don't know if Bowyer is the right man for the job but I for one will not judge him based on the shower he inherited. If he is here next season, I take some encouragement from the Blackpool team of yesterday, most of which he recruited. Plenty of pace with a physical presence that will be exactly what we need next season.

 

Can’t see how that’s going to happen. Player X is still earning Y and club Z isn’t going to be willing to pay X Y - Y being a ridiculous sum of money for a crock of shit!

 

Slowest City side i can remember. Unfortunately also the most physically weak as well. It took some talent to assemble a squad so lacking in very basic attributes to lower league success. Hats off to Rahic and Abbott.
