I was thinking about that and I would guess he plays him for his physicality which neither Payne or Butterfield posses so it makes us too lightweight in midfield to play them together. I think Butterfield did well today but Josh Wright should just go back to where ever he's been hiding the guy is just about on track to take over from Matthew Bates as one of the worst ever players to put the shirt on for us. I also found it strange that people were baying for players to have a crack from ridiculous distances then then Anderson did and it didn't come off some of those people were screaming at him to tell him he's sh*t.

I get why people are not happy with him but three managers haven't bee able to get them going so to blame Bowyer is odd. Did you see the response he got from Blackpool fans says a lot about the guy I think.

 

If Bowyer is going to pick these players up after today's debacle,he's going to need

Had to have a little smile to myself when the Blackpool fans were taking the p**s late into the second half when the fans were leaving in droves I though, we used to do that not long ago .

 

I think it's quite obvious our defence is atrocious and Anderson is there to help cover them and give us a bit more physical presence. Unfortunately he is shite, but i get why he is in the team.

I’m sure some would still try and shield this lot from the dogs abuse they deserve. Getting off light, same as Rupp. The sooner we can lose him as well, the better. Destroying our club, no other way of dressing it up. It’s hardly surprising though, writings been on the wall for ages, when you have a surplus of mediocre gutless footballers, you’ll always be up against it. Fighting for our lives, can any of them honestly say they have even done that? They deserve to go down well before the final games, people should stop wasting their time on this lot.

Playing just one up front and the slowest midfield ever in a game we HAD to win was a disgraceful team selection and formation, In a must win game we played not to lose rather than to take the game to them and win it, That is not the players fault it is a poor manager more interested in getting a job next year than saving us this

 

I respect your opinion. Just think that tacking options have been missing all season... not just under bowyer

 

Attacking.... but whilst we're at it... tackling has been bad too haha

 

Agreed we have had some shocking formations and team selections but when you are desperate and only wins will do you have to change at home to a more attacking style. If only to keep the fans onside as we go down,

 

I think half the problem is, that if we play attacking football, it exposes the defence far too much...
We can out in the second half looking up for it, playing a bit more attacking.... And pretty soon we are 2 down, then 3, then 4.

 

I don’t think we can blame the manager. Do you honestly believe he sent them out to play like that?
