    Might suggest to Rhodes that when fans come back to the VP that we allow @Park bantam@Park bantam out at half time for a 30 minute drive then back in so he can test his eye sight to stop him making out we have played good instead of utter rubbish which we would have played like.

    I often think this is done on purpose, I mean the whole driving to Durham thing is obviously true and he didn’t want it getting out, but the reaction is probably purposeful. Throwing a dead cat on the table, I think it’s called. Creates a bit of a siege mentality, gets the bootlickers on side, and distracts from the real damning issues. Trumps Administration do it too...Or maybe I’m way wide of the mark, I don’t know.

    I'm not saying he's right or wrong , it's the double standards or being accused of being right wing because you dont agree with a certain poster , quite funny tonight ( @Offcomedun@Offcomedun ) Emily Maitlis has been suspended by the BBC for a politically biased rant over the Cummings affair , so the truth about the MSM is slowly starting to unravel . Also Laura Kuenssberg ( Her father Nick Kuenssberg actually bankrupted a country --- Peru ) as left The BBC , love how she talks about honesty and transparency with her father being a fraudster . But of course according to some there is no MSM political bias in the media .

    Call his actions a ‘blunder’, but he has had time to respond in a positive manner.

    Firstly on his return to London, he could have informed the Government that on reflection, he felt the rules could be altered, so that other families in a comparable position to him, could take the same course of action, without breaking the rules. Some families will have been single parents and with perhaps more than one child.

    Secondly he could have said ‘mea culpa’ (as someone who has studied ancient history, he will be familiar with the term).

    It is his brassed face attitude, which particularly galls me. Quite frankly he is in a position, where he influences/directs/forms Government Policy, which makes the rules which govern society.

    Yet he is ‘above that’! I am a great believer in equality. His behaviour can be seen as an affront to all that is decent about this country, the value of ‘playing a straight bat’, being honourable.

    Strikes me that some on here, are apologists, for this disgraceful disregard of the rules of the country.

    He should do the honourable thing and go.
