Same place as they were when that clown was buying the players!

Greg even used the word "Shambles" today, I'm assuming he's got over himself after losing his rag when the fan questioned him with it that time.

Well I’d like to know why he didn’t sign one when he was head of recruitment! Talks a good game does Greg.

the whole management team and playing squad have to ask themselves some harsh questions tonight.

as manager Bowyer will ultimately take the responsibility for the performance and result but Pritchard and O'Connor need to both ask themselves why they didn't compete for headers on the first goal, Connor Wood needs to ask himself why he let Nicky Maynard walk 3 yards away from him and have a free header practically on the goal-line and Kelvin Mellor (i think it was) needs to ask himself why he let a simple throw in come 20 yards and his man turn and shout without even the sniff of a challenge for the third.

awful attitude all-round from start to finish today from everyone - and 442 isn't the answer.

I don’t think McCarten is a striker. I think he plays best behind a front two, so yet another player that Bowyer wants to slot into a square hole. If we had a midfield he could be very useful. However, like others today was useless.

As you saw if wasn't a very good game, very few if any could take any credit from that performance, as yourself I think most watching could see it was not working why oh why with Donaldson on the bench didn't he make at least that change at half time.
At 1 - 0 I could understand Bowyer giving the starting 11 time to get us back in the game but giving players a chance at 2 - 0 was not Bowyers best decision IMO, I haven't heard any of Bowyers post match comments but if he said they will be in training on Sunday that's very reminiscent of last season and most were hoping that was behind us as a club.

So why wouldn't Bowyer do the same, by bringing Oteh on rather than Clayton, with McCartan just behind if Clayton could only do 15/20 minutes , he's got some big decisions too make before Tuesday night.
Whats the point of bringing them in to train today (to make a point to the fans) Bowyer surely can't change anything they have not done previously on the training pitch,or in your opinion will it be a sit down clear the air meeting with a re-run of yesterday debacle ?.

You are completely missing the point Brisbane. Bringing on any player, fully fit or otherwise with 15 minutes to go when you are 2-0 down is too late to have any sort of chance of changing the game. If that was all Donaldson was able to manage, he shouldn't have come off the bench yesterday, end of.

I agree @Bronco@Bronco. A much earlier sub to bring Oteh on would have made more sense or even starting with Oteh and Doyle up front to begin with, with McCartan or Devitt behind. Bowyer too cautious for that though I think.

I think that is Bronco's point. Bowyer should have done something to change the personnel and formation well before the 75th minute. Donaldson wasn't available to do that. And yes Bronco was there.

Is the correct answer. There's a difference between giving a player 15 minutes and only being able to do 15 minutes. If you can't physically do more than 15 minutes you shouldn't be on a football pitch.

How about an arranged game behind closed doors? He mentioned getting that sorted for Devitt, why not for Clayton too?

You actually assume wrongly big rod

if you must know I saw it on someone’s random twitter post and thought it was a clever quote to apply to GB as it applies perfectly to him. I can’t credit it as I’m not trawling through Twitter just to satisfy you. Anyway, I did credit Einstein as he was the one who said it...:eyes:

But fear not, next time I’ll make sure I run everything by the plagiarism police to keep you satisfied ;)

Awful signing, alarm bells should've been ringing for Bowyer when no one snapped him up after we missed out in the summer. Would've much preferred a proper left winger or someone with a bit of genuine pace to stretch teams. He's brought an identical midfielder in to the rest of them but is worse than the current crop we had at the time of signing him. What a mess that midfield is.

Indeed. If you reply, you just get another question back. It could carry on ad infinitum. It's a way to avoid the point you are making.

If there was a list of wealthy people wanting to waste money on City a) Rhodes and Lawn would have found them before they sold to Rupp and b) I’d imagine Rupp and his chosen agents are looking for them, the fact they haven’t found anyone willing to pay his price means there are none or the price is too high and Rupp is staying.

You’d have to be a mug to pay anything for City. It’s a money pit.

Yeah it all feels flat. Like just turning up for the sake of it. I don't want to watch league 2 football next season, but if the club sold me a vision that includes some sort of go forward for the future then i'll bite the bullet. See, i'm not one for this 'City for all' bollocks aiming for 20,000. Turn up cos the seats are cheap and 'we're all City aren't we?' I want fans to turn up for the same reason as me, they see a viable route for the club to go forward with the realistic aim of being a yoyo club between league1 and the championship. Lay down a long term vision that excites me and i as an individual will back the club all the way, if the club is just interested in treading water i'll give it a miss. This clubs needs a better future than turning up to village backwaters in the middle of nowhere, when i start to get bored with something i leave it alone.

He sold half his shares to bring in two more business partners, he was in Hungary last week with them both looking at new stadiums regarding his long term future for Peterborough. Doesn't sound like he's jumping ship any time soon if he's looking at a new stadium. Also has another couple of assets on his books, Ivan Toney i would expect to go in the region of ten million plus. They've also made significant investment into their academy set up over the last two years. If we were run like that i would concede that at least we had some sort plan for the future.

Those that like a bet should be staying well clear of City lately. Decent odds but probably about right with the performances we've been seeing.
