Possibly. 8 points from the 4 games prior to his return, 2 in the 4 games he's played in since he's been back.

 

Because these problems have been here since the first game. We've been shite all season barring 2 games, it's just now people realise it because the wins he fluked have dried up.

To assume doyle has is responsible for this is lunacy.

I don’t think McCarten is a striker. I think he plays best behind a front two, so yet another player that Bowyer wants to slot into a square hole. If we had a midfield he could be very useful. However, like others today was useless.

 

No, he merely asks what we “think”, which means there’s no right or wrong answer. I guess it’s a possibility, but I have no reason to assume he’s being disruptive when I don’t have a shred of evidence to back it up.

 

He actually asked if anyone thinks his return might have unsettled some of the players. He didn't mention anything about him being disruptive.

 

In my opinion, Doyle will score goals with the right set up/system I.e. Swindon, how our tactical genius Bowyer is playing / using him as a target man, just like last season will never work, most of his best wort today was picking up the ball on the wing. One of the leagues most potent goal scorers is reduced to impotence.

 

don't buy into this that he is unsettling the team because he did not want to return.

there are a few members of the squad that would rather play with more flair and more offensive tactics.

there is a difference to being a bad apple.

some players just prefer different formations and roles.

 

I don’t think he’s asking if Doyle’s return has unsettled the players, but if Doyle himself is unsettling the players.

I think it's more about the pressure they may be feeling of having the countries leading goal scorer playing up front but knowing the way we play isn't going to supply him with the ammunition he needs.
