    Perhaps Bowyer wants Terry McPhillips from Blackpool who is on a rolling 12 month contract and uncertain of his future under new owners?

    It reeks of GB’s personal preference - nothing else.

    Rupp and JR wouldn’t jeopardise the work they’ve put in to get fans back on side by not giving GB what he wants. GB will have read the memo when he agreed a new deal.

    Honestly, I wish the fans would just get behind the club - next season is a biggie!

    So, you’re suggesting Rupp has, in some respects, told GB he cannot have Todd has an assistant because we are skint? Do you honestly believe that?

    I thought Terry McPhillips was Bowyers assistant but he stayed at Blackpol when Bowyer walked, hate to say it but as Drury is already under contract maybe he's the cheaper option.

    This can only be seen as a cost cutting measure. Drury will not be on much money and has time to run on his contract.

    Mcelhone and Todd have both gone and I reckon they won’t be replaced.

    No announcement on Maik Taylor yet either so keepers will probably end up training themselves again next season.

    One of the reasons parky was so successful was his backroom team and fitness coaches etc.
