Andy Cook (with Poll)

Just twisted all my opinions and kept a list of thinks I've said to use against me if I ever dare to say Cook isn't the best thing since sliced bread.

I still think Ash Taylor would be an alright CB in league 2. Maybe not for us... but he's average.

Oyegoke is alright in the air, certainly tall enough.

Andy Cook is an excellent striker. He scores goals. I said he is better with support. That's true.

No ,mate he'd gone by the time Barry Swallow came to the club, for some reason I thought Harland was a Birmingham lad, but he was a Scouser.

When warming up just before kick off Stan used to flick the football on to his heel and over his head in front of him. I remember practising that skill with a Frido.

Ron Futcher was here from 1987/88 playing 42 games and scoring 18 goals for us Stan Harland was here 1961/64, yes we did sign him from Everton, as I posted earlier for some reason I thought he was Birmingham lad but he was a Scouser as you say.
I believe @Kevin1954 was asking if Barry Swallow was Stan Harland's partner I think ?, but you correct Futcher and Swallow were both at the club at the same time 1967/69.

I have no issue with people having an opinion or even “banter”. But you weren’t giving an opinion and were simply being an arse. As I said in my previous message, it was clear what the poster was getting at. It’s only you that thought it necessary to seek the response necessary.

Firstly, Taylor is good enough for L2, but not for us, even though we are L2? He is poor (not average) and way too slow.

What has being “tall enough” got to do with anything? Stix was tall but wasn’t the greatest in the air. He isn’t great mate, so you shouldn’t be repeating yourself and making yourself look silly TWICE
