And that comes out very clearly in the phone call to the Georgia Sec. of State trying to bully the Georgia officials into helping him steal the election. Actually, it is becoming very hard to tell if he is just continuing on his sleazy self-serving ways, or if he is genuinely becoming unhinged. He really is quite detached from reality.

Yes, incredible stuff. It would appear that there are no depths beyond which he is prepared to stoop to hang on to power. And no conspiracy theory too bonkers for him to peddle.
He currently seems to be totally consumed by a feeling of injustice, however delusional. His whole life has been one of privilege. He has always found dubious ways of being bailed out of any losses, business-wise, to avoid his great psychological fear of being branded a 'loser'. He is so convinced of his own greatness that he simply cannot believe that the American public would vote him out and he cannot process or accept it. The way things are going they may have to get the army or police to drag him out of the White House once Biden is inaugurated!

I wouldn't. It would just inflame the white supremacist thugs, with guns, who worship him, and lead to violence on the streets. And add to the ridiculous conspiracy theories peddled by the right wing in the US.

I would, however, love to see him dragged off to prison in two or three years time, along with others of his family, having been convicted of multiple tax fraud by the NY courts.

They can only pardon for federal offences, I believe. Financial crimes against the NY tax authorities can't be presidentially pardon as I understand it.

At last a bit of good political news. Looks like the Democrats have won both Georgia run-off seats so will hold the balance of power in the Senate with Elizabeth Warren's casting vote. So that arsehole McConnell won't be able to block everything Biden tries to do for the next four years.
